    Intervention/Enrichment Activities in English 7 and 9 students

    Providing small-group reading instruction in five core reading elements


    (phonological awareness, phonics, reading fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension)
    can really help English language learners. In this intervention it is very useful
    especially for Grade 7 students since most of the Grade 7 students enrolled in our
    school they can read but they can’t comprehend. Aside from having a small-group
    reading instruction we provide them also materials just like short stories with follow
    up question wherein they can read at the same time can comprehend the given
    stories.

    For our Grade 9 students, supplying them literature text is the best way to sharpen
    their minds in criticizing literary pieces.
