How to make the best deals and form the best partnerships

Leverage
I picked this topic because it is practical, and people need help through these di cult times, as well as the

power dynamics are in the favor of big companies. This topic is remarkably close to my heart because of

my mistakes and then successes with negotiations. The corrections I have been able to make with the help

of astrology have led me to ask for more and ask for what I believe is right.

Lots of different situations in our lives that are to do with negotiations but let us focus on career related

(salary, equity) negotiations and deal makings. You can use this in other situations as well.

These include:

1. Salary negotiations, either with current or new employer

2. Business deals, either stake in a company or a more shorter-term deal with another astrologer for

example = who gets what in the agreement

3. Legal agreements = some sort of settlement in court etc.

Important things to consider:

1. First question should always be, do I want to do this (obvious one here) but important.

2. And close second, why do I want to do this?

This will help you discover Your emotional stake in the decisions. Meaning, what is motivating You through

all this. If You know this, it is easier to make rational and non-emotional decisions during a very practical

process in our lives. We all get attached to things, jobs, companies, people. Good to know this beforehand

not after You are already behind the table and giving out numbers.

ianaltosaar.com
How to make the best deals and form the best partnerships

Additional things to get clear with before:

1. What do I want to get? Be the salary number, bonuses, or stake in a company? Job title, percentage of

sales, workload, etc. Working from home, so on and so forth. Get as clear as possible with this.

There is always a number or a percentage You desire truthfully. And not the number You “think” is

okay or what Your mind “thinks” is the industry average. Ask for what You truly desire. Only way of

getting it.

2. Are You prepared to do the work? This is also important. If You are going to ask for the big numbers,

should be prepared to offer the best service, skills, etc. And to carry the workload as well. What are

You willing to give is the important question here You need to ask Yourself?

3. How much work will be involved? Usually this is always more than discussed in the initial agreement.

Adjust Your number/percentage accordingly. Also, consider and be precise on who will do what.

Now we come to the leverage part. This is extremely important in the real world. I know many “spiritual

people” do not really want to think about this but for Your own good and survival, tremendously important.

Leverage in quite simple terms is Your backup or things You currently own/have/do etc. that give You an

edge in the negotiation. Or in the capitalistic world.

These are but not limited to, for example:

ianaltosaar.com
How to make the best deals and form the best partnerships

1. Your old or current job with a stable salary (or Your savings, investments that You can liquidate)

2. Other offers from other companies

3. A government bene ts check = it is a piece of leverage I would like You to see it as such because in

a capitalistic world this will keep You a oat and help You survive, so You do not have to take that

shitty job with that shitty pay

4. Your own business = Your side hustle

5. Your social media following = as annoying and shallow as it sounds, this is a bargaining piece in

today’s climate

6. Other skills You might have that can generate income quickly = for example, I know how to play

poker and I can survive doing that (because of my previous experience as a poker player). Do not

disregard things that You could do in the past just because You are “done” with them. These are and

can be Your internal bargaining chips, so to speak

7. Knowing Your own true worth = this one is more metaphysical than practical and can only be used as

a side leverage. Deciding You are not going to go below a certain number because it is what You feel

You are worth (and can prove later). But remember, if You do not have other resources or leverage,

when You need to eat You need to eat. Knowing Your “true worth” cannot help You survive here.

8. Other people’s resources = maybe Your partner has a high paying job/career/business and has agreed

to support You (not my favorite piece of leverage for long-term situations). Maybe Your family has a

farmhouse that You can go to that if all else goes to haywire, You can go there and live off the land.

Or maybe You know that on Costa Rica You can live on the beach and survive off bananas and a

website (whatever it is in Your case). Just a couple of examples, hopefully You get the gist. It is all

there for You to understand that You have other options, so You are not taken advantage of during

the negotiation. You just need to get clear on what are Your other options.

A real-life scenario:

Let us say that You are being offered Your dream job, dream career. Hooray for You! All the emotions come
ooding in and the thoughts of what can and will be run through Your mind. You imagine success and the
cool things You are going to do once the ink has dried.

ianaltosaar.com
How to make the best deals and form the best partnerships

But oh wait, now the talk starts of “them not being able to pay You much” and “times being tough for the
company” etc. This is a quite common tactic almost always used by companies (some percentage of the
time it can be true as well but usually a manipulative tactic, the higher the payroll costs, the lower their
pro ts). They know how to emotionally manipulate You to sign for less than You asked for or less than is
reasonable. They often use the fact that You are emotionally invested in (it is Your dream job, and You
want it) it to their advantage. Especially if You say it is Your dream job and You really, really want it. (I know
its bullshit but that’s how the real world works, for now, things are changing slowly though.)

This is the time where You really need to make Your heart cold and set emotions aside. It is good if You
know Your astrology and the dangers that await You!

Your mind starts to run now. “I can still accept it, I will just ask for more money later, after I prove my
worth”. = Do You really think it is easy to ask for more later? Or can You stay strong in the next negotiation
if You let Your pants down during the rst one? Although it is true that for a company it is much cheaper to

pay the existing employee than to start looking for a new one. Additional expenses are the name of the

game. But if You do not have leverage, and they know it, it is extremely hard to ask for more later.

Or “It is my dream job; I can nally do what I want. Does it matter how much I get paid?” = It truly matters,
and if You think about it, You can work on Your dream on the side while getting paid decently to do

something that pays more for the moment. This one is a bit trickier because if the company is genuinely

caring, wants You, has big plans for the future etc., seems legit (You can use Horary to see this), then can

consider taking a little less during the rst negotiation. But remember, You can always work on Your dream

on the side for free anyway. No reason in doing so for a pro t-oriented company that will bene t more from

You labor than You!

There are many other ways Your mind will try to trick You ("What if I don't get this job? What if they offer it
to someone else?") and without even knowing it, You are stuck in the job 6 months later, doing more work
than was required of You (or agreed upon in the initial contract) and thinking “I should have asked for
more!"

ianaltosaar.com
How to make the best deals and form the best partnerships

This is the part of the story where You listen to their (the company or other side) stories, look at all the
facts without the emotion (or with observing the emotion) and go back to them. Important disclaimer! You
need to be ok with them saying no to You before You go back to them with Your true demands or desires,

wants and needs!!!

After making peace with them saying no to You and looking over Your leverage/backup list, go back to
them and state Your desires (You should also do this before the negotiations even start). Believe me, You
will feel much better after = freedom and liberation come from doing what You want and desire. Or allowing
Yourself to emerge and staying true to Yourself. Especially important to remember!

Let the shame and guilt for asking “so much” rise and do it anyway! (More on this later!)

Some important things to remember during the process itself:

1. Do not be too sel sh and focused on Your needs only. Do You best to nd solutions that are tting

for both sides. Express what You can offer and what You can do for the company, etc.

2. Look at their reactions to things You say, observe body language. Can learn a lot from this. Are they

comfortable with the numbers and things You are saying, etc.

3. If possible (this is very hard to do) let them say the rst number out loud. You can then adjust

accordingly. Usually, they have ways of navigating through it. But if they ask You for the number You

can say something along the lines of “I’m sure there’s a number the company has in mind for this

position”, and maybe they will give it. But most often they will not. They have the upper hand here.

That is one reason I recommend You have it ready, and the number is as high as You possibly feel

good about and go with it.

Aspects, con gura ons from the perspec ve of nego a ons, deals,
agreements
Important negative aspects to look for and what they mean (negative aspects are squares and oppositions,
if planets are weaker, we can talk about conjunctions as well = especially with Neptune!):

1. Neptune in the 7th house = danger of being swindled by lawyers, deal makers, in negotiations in

general. This applies in general and with bad aspects (squares and oppositions). Look for a way out

with some good aspects. If Neptune is well aspected only, then the person can bene t from deals,

lawyers, negotiations magically. But generally, be more careful whenever Neptune is in play. And learn

to be as precise with Your demands/desires/wants and needs as You possibly can! Do Your own part

here!

2. Neptune in the 3rd house = danger of missing details in ne print, of misunderstanding things during

negotiations, expressing Yourself and Your desires in a confusing manner, others understanding You

in other ways and misinterpreting Your demands/desires. People can even deliberately not be clear

on details with You and You with them.

3. Pisces in the 3rd or 7th = same as the two previous points. Unless Jupiter and Neptune are very

good.

4. Ruler of the 7th with negative aspect (this can even be conjunction) from Neptune = same as above

with the 7th house.

5. Ruler of the 3rd with negative aspect (this can even be conjunction) from Neptune = same as above

with Neptune in the 3rd.

6. Ruler of the 7th house negative aspect from Saturn = person can be afraid of negotiations, making

deals or signing agreements. Restrictions and blockages regarding negotiations, agreements. Root

of the fear can be found exploring what Saturn rules in the chart and from what house it is coming

from.

7. Ruler of the 7th house negative aspect from Pluto = subconscious fears around deals and

negotiations. The individual can be afraid of entering into negotiations, deals. Hidden power games

during negotiations, being manipulated by (or thinking they are manipulated by the other side).

ianaltosaar.com
How to make the best deals and form the best partnerships

8. Ruler of the 7th house negative aspect from Mars = the individual is too aggressive during

negotiations and deal making. Oversteps boundaries, wants to nalize the deals very quickly, rushes

through things. More argumentative during negotiations or the other side being like that, as well as

more arguments, ghts during negotiations. Wants to win each deal and get the best deal at all costs.

9. Ruler of the 3rd house negative aspect from Saturn = can even fear reading the documents, details.

Afraid that they will miss details, information. And then they will not do it because of the fear. Needs

to look that fear directly in the eyes and deal with those things. Best to read documents slowly and

gradually, details. Let it take more time but be vigilant and thorough with it!

10. Ruler of the 3rd house negative aspect from Pluto = a bit like Saturn, deep subconscious fear can be

around documents, details, administrative things. Can lead the person not to deal with those matters

or be afraid of them. Needs to work through the fear gradually. Also, manipulation and power games

during communication, can lead to the individual using “questionable” tactics during the negotiations.

Or the other side doing it to them.

11. Ruler of the 3rd house negative aspect from Mars = the individual can again rush with details, be too

argumentative generally in communication, which can translate to ghts etc. during the negotiations

itself.

Additional di cult positions:

1. Ruler of the 7th in the 12th = like Neptune (see above).

2. Ruler of the 3rd in the 12th = like Neptune (see above).

3. Venus in bad shape, aspects and/or dignity = more on this below in the self-worth section. Generally,

the person can feel uneasy in negotiations and asking for things they want/desire in life. Similar

di culties like with the 7th house ruler, 7th house.

4. Mercury in bad shape, aspects and/or dignity = like 3rd house matters above.

ianaltosaar.com
How to make the best deals and form the best partnerships

Important positive aspects to look for and what they mean:

1. Strong ruler of the 7th, strong 7th house = person is good at making deals, good at negotiations and

agreements. Can nd and make deals, agreements that are suitable for both sides, that both sides

bene t from. For example, ruler of the 7th in the 7th (good aspects are a bonus, negative aspects can

still show areas where the troubles can come from).

2. Strong ruler of the 3rd, strong 3rd house = person is good with documents, details. Can work through

documents, see the ne print and important details.

More information about placements:

The more You have negative indications, the harder these situations will be for You. The more You need to

work on these matters and bring the fears to light to be dealt with.

If You have some negatives and some strengths, these will balance each other out. But You will still have

to use Your stronger ones and be aware of Your weaker ones. That is where the troubles will come, as well

as Your way out of the situation. Use the stronger ones, be aware and work harder on the di cult

placements.

ALL THE NEGATIVES APPLY TO TRANSITS AS WELL! If You have negative or hard transits to mentioned

con gurations, then You have to be extremely careful!!!

If the person has no positive ones, then they are even more resistant with dealing those matters, more

easily swindled. Need to work extra hard. If they are so resistant that they completely ignore and don't want

to deal with it at all, there's not much You can do. Best bet is to look for supporting transits and then look

for help that way. The person has to be extra careful! In my own experience, I have not seen a person yet

who doesn't have any supporting aspects to the 7th or 3rd house rulers. Or any supporting planets in those

houses. There usually is at least something to work with!

ianaltosaar.com

ming
You cannot get all of these but get at least the Moon that will serve You a lot. Bonus points if the Moon is

well aspected (extremely hard to do but sometimes possible).

Moon signs that are good for negotiating (go with the order of numbers):

1. Taurus = best option as always. Emotions are grounded and pleasant. Easier to deal with people.

2. Libra = just be careful here to not give in too much to the other side but the other side is very

receptive and considerate of Your needs and wants.

3. Sagittarius = a jovial mood and people feel generally more optimistic. Danger to gloss over some

details or over promise.

4. Cancer = Moon in its home sign but emotions can get the best of us here. Too much emphasis on

the emotional side but can consider this as well.

Other things to consider when picking the time:

1. Venus in good dignity, aspects. Retrograde should be avoided because usually people will feel worse

during this time (self-worth and diplomacy will suffer). Will ask for less and can get less etc.

2. Mercury in good dignity, aspects. Lot of negotiations fall on Mercury retrograde. Remember that

these will take more time, You need to be especially careful with the things You say and what they

say to You, the details of the deal will be thrown back and forth, and You need to pay even more

attention to detail. For example, the details of whatever contract You are discussing or planning to

sign will change, You need to go over details many times, send revisions, etc.

3. Your personal aspects. We want positive aspects to Venus and Mercury mostly. Bonus points if AC

ruler well aspected and positive in uences in the 1st house = You will feel more con dent. (Sun,

Jupiter, or Venus in the rst or making an aspect to the ruler of the rst, Mercury in the rst house is

good as well).

ianaltosaar.com
How to make the best deals and form the best partnerships

Best days for negotiations:

1. Friday = Venus day, especially if You can get the hour of Venus as well. Di cult but something to

keep in mind. People are usually more relaxed and in a more pleasant mood. Can get away with more

here, can ask for more. (From personal experience, one of the most successful negotiations I’ve had

was done on a Friday, I was also aware of the fact it was a Venus day).

2. Thursday = Jupiter day, like Moon in Sagittarius but less felt.

3. Can also try Wednesday = Mercury day, but remember, Mercury is a trickster. Can trick them Yourself

or be tricked by others.

4. Would avoid Tuesday if possible = Mars and Pluto day.

For professionals and astrologers, who really want to take this to the next level. Disclaimer! I have only

tested this out in real life with job interviews and salary negotiations. Legal matters are still unknown (this

only applies when You have a say about the actual hourly time of the negotiation, interview, etc.):

ianaltosaar.com
How to make the best deals and form the best partnerships

1. Look for a time where the ruler of the AC is in good dignity, strong with aspects, in a good house, etc.

The more You get these, the better.

2. The opponents. The 7th house, if You can put them (the ruler of the 7th) in a pleasant position as

well. The better they feel about themselves, the easier it is to get what You want from them.

3. MOST IMPORTANT! Look for the two rulers and make sure that there is an applying aspect between

them!!! If You can get conjunction, sextile or trine, even better!!! If there is no aspect, the two parties

are not going to meet!!! If there is a separating aspect (even if it is a trine or a sextile etc.) the

meeting might be pleasant, but the two parties are not going to meet or reach an agreement!!! They

are moving away from each other!!!

4. If there is a harder applying aspect between the two rulers, the meeting might not be so good, but the

two parties are going to meet later. And reach some sort of agreement. Also, with separating hard

aspects, two parties are not going to meet in the future!

5. If one of them is retrograde, not the best. People might change their minds, or be in di cult

situations, confused, misleading, etc. But an important thing to remember from the perspective of

aspects. If the retrograde planet comes back and makes an applying aspect to the other ruler =

chance of the two parties meeting.

6. If two rulers, check both. But traditional rulers have higher probability in my experience. Modern rulers

can give extra clues, extra bonus points to show if the agreement is going to happen. If one is

applying and the other is separating, then there's still a high probability that an agreement will be

reached.

7. You can also use this technique after the interview, negotiation meeting. Usually there are decision

makers etc. anyway and most often the papers are not signed right then and there. You can see from

those charts the likelihood of the event either happening or not happening. Getting the money, or not

getting it. Write down the meeting time!

ianaltosaar.com
How to make the best deals and form the best partnerships

8. Look for the dignity table to see who likes who. I integrated this concept from Horary astrology but

works ne with meeting charts.

9.

10. Identify who is which planet and see if they like each other. For example, If You are Saturn (Aquarius

AC) and the opponent is the Sun (Leo 7th house) You are in a stronger position than they are. You

can also see that the Sun is keeping Saturn by rulership = they like You very much, and can ask for

more here, or high probability of getting at least an offer. If there is no connection by aspect or

dignity table, small chance of anything happening further, agreements reached etc. Also see what the

other party is holding in detriment or fall = this will show potential problems. For example, You hold

the 7th house ruler in detriment means that You are going to cause the company problems. And vice

versa.

11. I personally use whole sign house system for predictions and meeting charts! Has been accurate. I

encourage You to do Your own testing with this.

12. I learned the technique about meeting charts from AstroViktor. I then combined the knowledge from

Horary astrology and started testing out in the real world. Something I encourage all astrologers to

do more!!!

Examples with mee ng charts

We can see that the ruler of the 1st house is Venus in the 9th house. We have two rulers for the 7th, Mars,

and Pluto.

ianaltosaar.com
How to make the best deals and form the best partnerships

Mars and Venus are in a separating trine (Venus is on 5 degrees of Capricorn and Mars on 3 degrees of

Taurus). The meeting was very pleasant, both parties enjoyed the meeting, and the company made even two

offers, but they were both low for our Ascendant.

From the dignity table we can see that Venus is in a much stronger place than Mars = the employers

cannot offer as much as the Ascendant wants. But Mars (the employer) really likes Venus (our Ascendant

or individual) thus leading to two offers.

We can also see that Pluto and Venus are in an applying conjunction. A possibility that they are going to

meet in the future, with some other deal or might reach an agreement later. This also needs to be

considered. This is what also happened. The company contacted the person again and started a new wave

of negotiations which ended up in an agreement.

Example 2

ianaltosaar.com
How to make the best deals and form the best partnerships

In this example we see that the Ascendant is ruled by the Sun, in the 10th. The 7th is ruled by Saturn and in

the 7th. Although it seems like a separating square, it is already remarkably close to an applying trine. Only

3 degrees apart from the meeting. A separating conjunction with the second ruler of the 7th house needs to

be considered as well. But in my experience, traditional rulers are more important!!!

The person was unsure how the meeting went but I assured them that there is a high probability that they

are at least getting an offer. They did and ended up signing with the company.

ianaltosaar.com
How to make the best deals and form the best partnerships

From the dignity table we can see that both have good strength, Saturn being very strong. And Sun decent

as well. High probability that the company can offer what the person wants numbers wise. Or asked.

Examples 3 and 4

ianaltosaar.com
How to make the best deals and form the best partnerships

ianaltosaar.com
How to make the best deals and form the best partnerships

The 3rd example is a potential time I picked out for a meeting. This is a good visualization on what to look

out for. (I actually proposed this time but the other party couldn't do it during it.) Both rulers are in a strong

position by dignity, only Saturn's house position is a bit di cult (remember, it's almost impossible to get it

perfect, although I know all You Virgos out there are doing Your best to make it so!). And more importantly,

they are in a partile (exact to the degree) square. Check Moon and Saturn. This means that the meeting of

minds or agreeing to something is highly likely. And although the meeting might have some stress or

arguments (square), the two parties are going to meet in the future and reach an agreement.

The 4th example is almost the same as the 3rd but with one huge difference. The rulers are in a separating

aspect (square again), making it unlikely that they will reach an agreement. Or if they will reach it, one of

the parties has to make a lot of adjustments to accommodate the deal.

Please also remember the dignity table! If there is a liking between the two sides involved (meaning by

rulership, exaltation, triplicity, term or face, the likelihood of the agreement is increased. If there's no liking

and separating aspect, very little chance of anything happening or one side has to let go of some of their

demands. Aspect is more important than the liking or dignity table!

ianaltosaar.com
How to make the best deals and form the best partnerships

Example 5

We can see that both rulers are in a strong position, and even more important in an applying sextile (look at

the Sun and Saturn). Sun at 2 degrees of Aries in the 9th house (a very strong position for the Sun) and

Saturn in the 7th house in Aquarius (also very good). This meeting and discussion has the potential to lead

to an agreement between the two parties. And quite quickly as well, there's only 8 degrees to the sextile

being exact. High probability that these two are going to reach an agreement of some sort within 8 days

after the meeting. This was actually a meeting time I personally picked that lead to an agreement, and a

very quick one.

ianaltosaar.com
How to make the best deals and form the best partnerships

Let us look at the dignity table and keep in mind that there's a modern ruler to our 7th house as well.

Although there isn't an aspect between the Sun and Uranus (major aspect) we should consider the fact

that Sun is faster and will catch up to Uranus in about a month and one week. Something to keep in mind

but not the strongest indication. When You see this, You can consider a weaker indication that the two

parties might come to an agreement.

Let us look at the dignity table as well to see if there's a liking between the two. What is interesting in this

example is that both the Sun and Saturn really like their own position. Sun has exaltation and Triplicity,

Saturn has rulership and Triplicity. Both really like their position but no connection between the two.

Meaning, they really think they are in a strong position themselves but don't really care truly about the

other. But please remember, there's still an applying sextile between them! More important than the dignity

table!

Let us look even further down the dignity table, now it gets really interesting, both keep each other in

Detriment!!! Extremely important to analyze what each ruler keeps in Fall or Detriment! This will show You

if there's potential that the deal will cause both sides some troubles!

Look at the respective houses and signs for potential clues where the troubles can come. Sun in the 9th in

Aries = for the Saturn side the troubles can come from the person starting work in foreign lands or moving

there, or maybe they are too sel sh and self-centered? Even legal matters can be the case when we are

talking about the 9th. Saturn in the 7th in Aquarius = for the Sun person the actual deal or contract can

become the source of troubles, even too much work to do or too many responsibilities.

This ends the chapter on meeting charts during negotiations and interviews. This can give You an extra

edge during the meeting if planned accordingly. If You have little say in the matter of time, then at least You

can see how the meeting went.

Self-worth
It might seem strange that I bring up the topic of self-worth within a topic like negotiations and leverage but

at the core, this is the second thing You need to work on. Obviously not only for negotiations but asking for

the sums of money You desire. Also, in career and relationships this is huge. But let us focus on the matter

of negotiations and leverage, asking for what You are worth during this webinar.

For You to ask for what You want and need, You need to be okay with actually wanting it.

Furthermore, You need to genuinely believe that You are worth it, before You can ask for it.

For a lot of us, our childhood experiences left us with scars that make us doubt those abilities. Which also

leads us to undervalue and under charge for our services in the modern marketplace.

And sometimes we are even blinded by our own capabilities = we think so little of ourselves that we cannot

see the brilliance we offer the workplace, world and to others.

This could have been something ridiculously small during Your childhood, like Your parents not picking You

up at the right place and at the right time. Which for a young mind can be exceptionally painful. Because the

thoughts “They forgot about me, this must mean I’m not important, this means I’m not worthy” etc. are very

easily formed for a young individual who does not yet know how to process their emotions, as well as

doesn’t have the emotional strength required to deal with these matters.

And very often these patterns of low self-worth are pushed down upon us by our parents and grandparents.

Who did not dare to ask for what they are worth, with beliefs like “Ask less, otherwise You might be left

with nothing!” (a big one right there). These can be subconsciously transferred to us as well, without us

knowing. (Stuck energies within families are di cult to break but astrology gives us clues on what to focus

on, where help can come). With some basic awareness and exploration, You can also see these patterns

without the help of astrology. Or at least some of them.

ianaltosaar.com
How to make the best deals and form the best partnerships

Sometimes it can be more direct, when a parent tells You straight to Your face in the heat of their own

emotions “You are worthless!” or starts comparing You to their friend’s kid who got all A’s on their report

card, and You had a B in there. “Why can’t You be like Mike? He had all A’s!” When You fail to do something

just exactly as they want it to be done. If You think about these, they might seem like nothing. But for a

young mind these can be extremely toxic. Essentially, the parent is living out their unprocessed emotions

and feelings on You. Making You responsible for them. This is not how it should work in a parent child

relationship. Energy should ow from the parent to the child!

Many examples of these but the end results are similar. As an adult, these beliefs, be it more hidden and

suppressed or more in Your face keep us from experiencing our lives fully.

What are some of the biggest indicators of self-worth, what should we

focus on and look for?
Venus
1. Venus is how we value ourselves and it is very much connected to our worth. One might even go and

say that it is our self-worth.

2. Hard aspects to Venus, as well as the houses/signs they are coming from and ruling, = show us the

places we were hurt.

3. Venus debilitated or in fall = Aries, Scorpio, or Virgo, already gives us indication of problems there.

Although, in this context (business, negotiations etc.) I have seen that Aries does not in uence us as

much as the other di cult positions. Venus in Aries is usually sel sh in relationships or attracts

sel sh partners. Or Aries like partners.

ianaltosaar.com
How to make the best deals and form the best partnerships

The Sun
1. The Sun is our con dence and when it has bad aspects (or weak dignity) it is hard to ask for what

You think You are worth. You just do not see Your brilliance, or You lack the con dence to in real life

to ask it.

2. The Sun usually represents the father (I have seen charts where it is the mother), and again, when it is

a icted by hard aspects, di cult house position or weak dignity, can show signs of low con dence

and the ability to create in the world. The relationship with the father needs to be examined, seen for

what it is, healed and forgiven. Then the individual can create more freely and ask for things they

want.

Ruler of the 2nd house and the 2nd house

1. Like Venus, everything said there applies here. If the ruler is a icted, in bad shape by aspects or

dignity, we can see problems with self-worth for the person.

2. Especially well seen if the sign and the ruler are di cult in uences in it of themselves. For example,

Capricorn and Saturn di cult in uences by aspect or in the 2nd house.

The Ascendant and the ruler

1. The Ascendant is us, so anything di cult to it can also indicate problems with self-worth. The AC

ruler in di cult houses, di cult aspects or weak in dignity, also give con dence issues.

2. Also, di cult planets in the 1st house itself can cause problems. Saturn or Pluto (depending on the

aspects they receive).

For us to evaluate our own or the condition of the self-worth of the individual, we need to take all the above

into consideration.

Aspects, placements regarding self-worth in astrology

Main aspects and positions to look out for in general and what they mean (houses show which area these
beliefs originate from, play around with the example beliefs in Your own life and change them to what
applies to Your situation more, usually the core belief = “I’m not enough” is the same but the stories or
words we use in our minds change).

ianaltosaar.com
How to make the best deals and form the best partnerships

Important disclaimer! Please do not treat the position as is, meaning that it is immediately bad. Look for

supporting in uences, aspects, dignity. Some supporting aspects can make an Aquarius Sun somewhat

con dent for example!

1. Venus in Virgo (also Virgo in the 2nd house) = Extremely critical of their appearance. Measure

themselves through outer things, need expensive things to be beautiful, cannot nd love for

themselves, do not feel enough. Can have beauty operations (extreme cases). Fault nding with

everything. Can always look perfect, perfectionists with their looks. Must learn to love themselves

for who they really are as a human being. Tendency to compromise in business and relationships. Is

unable to see their own beauty. Inner doubt can manifest with drugs, shopping, or problems with

women. Remedies: sweet and healthy foods = Venus + Virgo. Serving women, victims of abuse,

listening to them. Helping female friends. Avoid relationships with a practical upside. The key here is

to go towards the positive side of Virgo which is service. Example belief = “I’m only worthy when I’m

useful”, or “I’m only worthy when I’m perfect” (which is never), change it to “I’m amazingly beautiful

just the way I am” or “I am enough”.

2. Venus in Scorpio = intense inner life, ups and downs there. Jealousy of others because of low self-

worth. Inability to see their beauty, worth. Suppressed and pain associated with money. Deeply afraid

of not being enough!!! Never feeling enough! Example belief “I’m a worthless human being” or “I’m not

good enough so nobody wants me or desires me”. Change them to “I’m lovable and worthy” and “I am

loved, I love myself and true love comes from within myself”.

3. Venus in square, opposition (or sometimes conjunction and in Capricorn, Saturn, or Capricorn in the

2nd house) with Saturn = the individual thinks they are only allowed a little, they are worth a little,

cannot have much, and are even afraid to ask for much. Because they think it is impossible to

receive. It is as if thanks to past experiences they are not allowed to ask for much! They think it is

right to ask for less! Example belief “Don’t ask for too much, You might not get it!” or “I can’t have the

things I truly want.” Change them to “I am worthy of receiving and getting the things that I truly and

deeply desire”.

ianaltosaar.com
How to make the best deals and form the best partnerships

4. Venus in square, opposition (or sometimes conjunction) with Pluto = true value is suppressed,

cannot see it because of some childhood trauma or lack of love. The person thinks they are

completely worthless at times. (Similar to Venus in Scorpio, Scorpio in the 2nd house or Pluto

connected to the 2nd house ruler).

5. Venus in square, opposition (or sometimes conjunction) with Neptune = person cannot judge their

worth correctly or cannot see it, issues with self-worth, especially when younger, illusions around

money, being swindled out of money or falling victim to some sort of nancial scam. Example belief

“I blindly trust that they have my best interests in mind” (This can be true if Neptune has positive

aspects, not if it has di cult ones, the opposite is usually true) or “It’s okay that I give my services

for free, the higher powers will take care of me”. (Again, more likely to be true if Neptune has good

aspects, otherwise, a reality check is needed here). Change them to “I know my worth and can ask for

it directly” and “I will see by their actions if they have my best interests in mind and will double check

the information given to me”. Neptune is always one of the trickiest because here the individual can

even believe their worth is more than it is. Grand illusions of some higher ideals. Yes, we all are

worthy but in this current system we must keep at least one foot in reality as well. If You can sing

like Lady Gaga but people do not want to listen to You, it’s really hard to charge the same amount for

tickets as she does. Just an example.

ianaltosaar.com
How to make the best deals and form the best partnerships

6. Sun in Capricorn (especially younger) = father can be strict, can undermine the con dence of the

person, not good enough thing happening there, too distant emotionally, strict. Conventional father.

Hard for them to recognize the uniqueness of the child and want the child to be conventional.

Success can come later, the ability to shine is taken away. Low self-esteem that they want to get rid

of by achieving some position. Can be a little more pessimistic in general. Think that life is hard.

Driven by safety. Need the backing position of an institution, protection from those places. Need

organizations to hide behind because their ego can be weak. Positions etc. are compensations for

that weakness. Example belief “I need this and that (insert some material objects or positions) to be

worthy of love” or “I have to achieve to be worthy and lovable, everything has to be correct (or

perfect) for me to receive love”. Change them to “I’m lovable just the way I am, I am enough”.

7. Sun in Aquarius = when the sun is weakest in nature, big problems with self-con dence (thanks to

this they go for things in indirect ways, in secretive ways even), immune system might be weakened.

Must learn to preserve energy. Good things to eat, red colored foods, maybe even yellow and orange.

Lot of ego defeating situations early in life. Too much attention is not good, self-glori cation is not

their path this lifetime. Too much attention can exhaust them. Can be humble and friendly if evolved,

but aloof and detached. Want to approach everyone equally, partially. Father distant, away focusing

on economic goals, colder relationship with the father = reason for the low self-esteem. Father does

not give the con dence needed to the individual. Example belief “I can’t do this myself” or even “I

need someone else to feel full”. Change it to “I’m whole and lovable as I am” and “I can do this myself

and I know what I want!”

ianaltosaar.com
How to make the best deals and form the best partnerships

8. Sun in Libra = debilitated, weakest position, because Libra is about partnerships but Sun is, I am and

wants the world to revolve around them. Libra is about two. Validation comes from the other. Feel

like "I am a negotiator" but the Sun does not want to negotiate. Can be wishy washy, can doubt too

much. Can feel the pressure to compromise. Strong Sun does not compromise their authenticity.

Unless You have Saturn with the Sun in Libra, then it is exalted. Saturn removes the in uence of it.

Easier to force one's will. The individual requires the input of others to de ne oneself and con dence.

Want to hear that they did well. Can lack authentic con dence even if they achieve a lot. Can bene t a

lot from dominant partners, mentors, or guides. Needs someone to re ect stuff back to them. Help

make them decisions. Example belief or thought = “I don’t know what to choose, I don’t want to miss

out on things”, can be changed to = “I’m capable of making correct decisions for myself and in my

life. One path leads to another, missing out is an illusion”. Although lacks con dence, good at

negotiations and making deals, agreements.

9. Sun in square, opposition (or sometimes conjunction) with Saturn = Saturn restricts the individual to

see their brilliance, genius. Can suppress their con dence. Person being too humble. Look for what

Saturn rules and which house it is coming from for more clues. Di cult relationship with the father,

father too strict (like Capricorn). Example belief “It’s not ok to be brilliant and con dent!” and change

it to “I’m brilliant, creative and it’s okay to shine”.

ianaltosaar.com
How to make the best deals and form the best partnerships

10. Sun in square, opposition (or sometimes conjunction) with Pluto = person does not believe in their

power, power was taken away somewhere in childhood. Very often the father gure. Turbulent and

di cult relationship with the father, father can be taken from them during certain periods. That will

leave holes within the person. Very often feels powerless and must start to reclaim their power

gradually. With that power, their con dence will start to grow as well. Example belief “I’m powerless, I

can’ create what I want” and change it to “I’m a powerful creator with a lot of inner strength and I can

accomplish a lot”.

11. Sun in square, opposition (or sometimes conjunction) with Neptune = father missing or not there,

either physically or emotionally. Lack of direction for the individual, lack of con dence. Again, hard to

see their brilliance. Father did not give them strength, power and con dence because he wasn’t there.

Example belief “I don’t know what to do, I don’t have clarity, I don’t know what I want” and change it to

“I’m a clear channel for the creative force and clarity comes to me”. (Or something a little less

dramatic ;P)

Most of self-worth problems are associated with our early childhood, parents, grandparents, family lineage,

siblings, etc. The people closest to us. Some come from pre-birth trauma. For example, the parents are

young when they nd out about You. It makes sense to have an abortion but because of a medical con ict

they cannot. This can (and in real life has) leave a wound with the individual of not being wanted in the

world. And without knowing they move around their life subconsciously feeling unwanted. This can

manifest as not wanting to go anywhere or feeling scared to go into new situations etc.

Another example of this is when the pregnant mother goes through severe depression during the

pregnancy. This can carry over (again, have seen it happen) into the child. And later in life they are

depressed for no apparent reason. They still carry the energy of someone else.

To verify these (if You feel that these might apply to You) You need to explore the history of Your parents,

family, ancestors, etc. Ask questions about the time of pregnancy and the themes going on there.

Astrologically look for all the in uences and houses mentioned in this course/book for clues that can
indicate this.

How to start releasing these?

1. This usually needs the help of a healer, energy worker who is capable in their craft. But becoming

aware of these will already help You tremendously.

2. First, some anger will likely arise towards whoever it was that seemingly wronged. It is okay and it is

there to be released. No need to confront anyone etc. Just start to feel and experience it. Also, many

people experience this differently. Some have “bigger” reactions, others not so much. Understand that

this was something You were meant to experience and start processing/feeling whatever is coming

up.

3. Once You are in a more grounded place You can do a small prayer and meditation that has worked

well.

4. If You have a certain routine (lighting candles etc.) do that, personally prefer something less

dramatic.

5. Sit or be comfortable and if it helps, close Your eyes. Obviously, You can do it with your eyes open.

6. Call out to Your guides, angels, ancestors, God or whatever You might prefer.

7. In a non-threatening manner ask Your helpers to return all the energies that do not belong with You

back to the respective owners. After that is done, ask that all energy that belongs to You be returned

to You as well. Sit with this for a while and You can repeat those if You feel the energy clearing.

(Sometimes it takes longer, sometimes it happens quickly. I once spent almost the entire night and

the next day doing this after an overly aggressive encounter, but this is an extreme example. Usually,

it takes a couple of minutes). I learned this technique from Joe Greenland and Cindy Edgson, a quite

simple yet profound meditation.

8. During the releasing You can get intense emotions and feelings. Do Your best to just feel these

without judgment.

9. A really good therapy I have found with this is HMR. I recommend Cindy Womack as the therapist.

Working with her cleared a lot of things within my consciousness that I didn't even realize were there.

There are most likely others but I have personally had a very good experience with her.

Houses
Important houses to keep in mind and their meaning regarding this topic (houses, signs, dignity, aspects all

should be considered when making assessments):

1. 2nd house = family history, self-worth. For example, Saturn is in the 2nd in Scorpio = something is

suppressed in the individual's consciousness from the family history. Something that they might not

even know about. The solution, talk to Your family members, talk about the history, ask questions

from people who are still alive and get them to tell You stories about people in Your family and

experiences they might have had, what they were like etc. Do deep research on Your family lineage.

You can discover important pieces of information about Yourself and why You act in a certain kind of

way. Any di cult in uences in the 2nd house give clues that there is something in Your family

lineage that is holding You back. For example, Saturn and Capricorn, Pluto, and Neptune.

2. 3rd house = Your siblings and close relatives, brothers and sisters, also early school environment

(can be bullied if di cult in uences there). For example, ruler of the third (especially di cult if it is

Saturn) in square or opposition with Venus or Sun, ruler of the 2nd (the examples I mentioned above),

Your brother or sister said something mean to You, or picked on You, or was constantly on Your

case that You are not good enough, etc. These can be small remarks that You as a child take in as

truth and in adult life do not go towards Your dreams thanks to that. With the third house in play,
good to journal Your thoughts about the situation on paper or in notebooks etc. This will get the ball

rolling and loosen up energy.

ianaltosaar.com
How to make the best deals and form the best partnerships

3. 4th house = also an especially important house, because it is the house of Your early childhood (for

some it is the father, some it is the mother, I usually use “one of the parents”). For example,

Capricorn in the 4th and ruler of the 4th Saturn in opposition to Venus = person had an extremely

strict and cold childhood with parents being away, achieving material stability. And although the

material stability was there, the inner con dence, happiness and worth are constantly an issue

because of negligence by the parents. Or Neptune the ruler of the 4th in a di cult aspect to Venus

etc. = a person can feel not seen by their parents, can leave a whole inside them, looking for

attention and approval outside, from other people who they put into the roles of their parents later on

in life.

4. 1st and 7th house = the houses of Your grandparents, as well as Your partner later in life (7th). For

example, Saturn in the 7th square Sun or Venus etc. = one of the grandparents can be the strict
in uence in Your life. Also, their own self-worth is “passed” on to You during childhood, a di cult

relationship with one of the grandparents that leaves doubts, insecurities to the individual, which

leads to low self-worth. 1st house is also You.

5. 9th house = the house of Your father in Vedic astrology (through my experiences this has been the

most accurate house for the father), mentors and teachers. For example, the ruler of the 9th in a

di cult aspect to Venus, especially if it is a male c in uence like Saturn, Mars, Pluto, or even

Neptune = the relationship with the father (or the absence of it) is the source of low self-worth and

problems for the individual.

6. 10th house = in modern astrology considered the house of the father (I have seen multiple examples
of it being mother as well, can again say one of the parents because the gender roles are so mixed

these days). Like the last house but can also be the relationship with the mother that is the cause or

start of the troubles.

If You see how many things in a chart can show this, or at least some problems with self-worth, You can
start to understand that almost everybody on this planet has at least some issues with it.

ianaltosaar.com
How to make the best deals and form the best partnerships

Helpful in uences or mitigating:

1. If Venus is weak, and the Sun is strong. Can help balance this. Similar with other in uences. If

something I mentioned is weak, but the other side is strong, it will help.

2. Supporting aspects to Sun and Venus, ruler of the 2nd house = Your way out of the situation.

3. Ruler of the 1st is strong and in a strong house, good in dignity, etc.

ianaltosaar.com
How to make the best deals and form the best partnerships

Real life and chart examples

Example 1

This is a great example chart because we have all areas covered. We have strengths and we have

weaknesses. From the perspective of negotiations, we can see that the ruler of the 7th is strong and in its

own house. To add to it even further, it is Mars, strong in Aries and well digni ed. From this we can already

see that the person is a good and erce negotiator. But that is just one piece of the puzzle.

ianaltosaar.com
How to make the best deals and form the best partnerships

We also see a partile square aspect from Neptune to Mars. What could this mean? The person can be

misled in and during negotiations, or even swindled (or the person can be unclear or deceptive towards

others during negotiations). People can make it seem that the deals they enter in are better than they are.

They can most likely send mixed signals themselves to the other party behind the table. Neptune is coming

from the 4th house. This can mean that the person will receive bad or misleading advice from their family

members to deal with negotiations and salary agreements (Mars rules the 2nd house = money).

To take it even further, we can see that in the Placidus house system (example below) the individual has

Neptune in the 3rd house. This can confuse the person even more during negotiations where details are

involved. Unfortunately, this Neptune caused the person to miss important details in the contract (they did

not express themselves clearly) and thanks to it lost 10% in their income each month. (That they thought

they were going to have).

We also need to take the chart into account from a self-worth perspective, to see why these things might

have also happened. The most prominent aspect here is the Saturn opposition to the chart ruler, which also

happens to be Venus. In this case Saturn is a icting both Venus and the ruler of the Ascendant. And Saturn

is the ruler of the 4th house. We can make observations that most likely the early home environment was

quite strict, distant and the thoughts (Saturn in the third in Placidus) taken from that time or beliefs

(because Venus is in the 9th house) can stop this person from progressing in life. As well as asking too

little for their time and services.

ianaltosaar.com
How to make the best deals and form the best partnerships

Placidus example

This all unfortunately happened to the person. Luckily, they adjusted thanks to astrology and during the next

big negotiations they were able to negotiate a 33% pay increase. As well as stay strong in an emotionally

triggering negotiation.

ianaltosaar.com
How to make the best deals and form the best partnerships

Example 2

We can see from this 2nd example that Neptune is in the 7th house. It is directly opposed by the chart ruler

Venus (the person can’t judge their worth correctly or can’t see it, issues with self-worth, especially when

younger, illusions around money, being swindled out of money or falling victim to some sort of nancial

scam). Also squared by Mars from the 4th house and Jupiter from the 10th. Judging from this we can

already see problems during negotiations, contracts, agreements, with lawyers. Unfortunately for this

individual, they were swindled by two different lawyers on two separate occasions, costing them over

200000$. Money that should have been rightfully theirs.

ianaltosaar.com
How to make the best deals and form the best partnerships

It is Neptune’s illusions and blind trust we need to keep in mind here. Especially in negotiations, deals,

contracts, with lawyers, etc.

But where is the help coming in this situation?

We can see that Mercury is making a partile aspect to Neptune, a lovely trine from the 3rd house. Pluto is

also supporting with a sextile from the 5th house.

Next time the individual is in a similar situation they should:

1. Read the ne print and details of the documents thoroughly, focusing on the small details (Mercury in

the third).

2. Ask for help from their local community, close relatives, siblings (3rd house and Mercury, Cancer),

but even in this case, should not trust blindly. Need to check those facts and details many times!

3. Ask someone in their local environment, team, work team, etc. for help. Most likely someone

younger (Mercury) who they have a familiar (Cancer) relationship with already.

4. When we also consider Pluto from the 5th and in Virgo, it speaks of focusing on details and doing

deeper research before signing any deals. Even the children or lovers can help.

ianaltosaar.com
How to make the best deals and form the best partnerships

Example 3

In the third example, from rst glance we could even make the argument that this person is good at

negotiations or creative (Sun in the 7th house), they should also be con dent (ruler of the 1st in the 1st

house and it is Jupiter!) but I will draw Your attention to the 9th house.

ianaltosaar.com
How to make the best deals and form the best partnerships

Venus is in its fall position in Scorpio and in conjunction with Pluto. This can immediately cause ups and

downs in the worth area of a person’s life. As well as lead to extreme lows (the person thinking that they

are completely worthless, on some occasions extreme highs as well). Unfortunately, this led to this
speci c individual to ask for truly little for their services. They could not see their true value (it was

suppressed because of Scorpio and Pluto combining). And remember, we are dealing with the 9th house =

issues with the father. Father not being able to give the con dence to the person to be able to believe in

themselves.

After helping this person to see more of their worth (and understand that they have leverage in the

situation), they were able to increase their earning ability (through series of negotiations, with different

companies) a whopping 90%! This is huge but huge also because they started so low! They were so blind

and unable to see their own magni cence.

ianaltosaar.com
How to make the best deals and form the best partnerships

Example 4

Another example where Neptune is in the 7th house. It is also opposed by Mars and a wide opposition from

Sun, as well as Mercury (sign based). Mars also rules the 2nd house (money), Sun rules the 6th (arguments,

disagreements) and Mercury rules the 7th itself (partners, lawyers, business partners). This person signed a

contract that gave away a lot of rights to their material to their business partner. They had blind faith

regarding this partner, and lost a lot of money because of this.

ianaltosaar.com
How to make the best deals and form the best partnerships

In reality, they lost even more and were dragged into legal battles for many years, which they eventually

lost.

Just a cautionary tale of what can happen in the capitalistic world when You are not careful.

In this case Neptune has a sextile from Pluto (can ask for help from lovers, and children). The person also

has a solid 3rd house, with the ruler Venus being in it's domicile position in Taurus. Trining Neptune and

sextiling the 1st house in uences. Before signing anything, they should have read the document

themselves. as well as ask for help from close relatives, brothers and sisters regarding this document.

Then at least there's a potential to catch the swindling from the business partner.

Examples 5 and 6

ianaltosaar.com
How to make the best deals and form the best partnerships

Strangely enough, both of these charts have Sun as the mother. To make it even more confusing regarding

parents, in the bottom chart the Sun represented both parents. It is important to understand because in that

way we don't make assumptions immediately. Rather, we ask from the person "Who was the dominant

parent?" Through that we can start putting the pieces together and can see with which parent the self-worth

issues are more tied to.

Solu ons
As I promised in the initial video, I came up with an idea that everyone can do on their own time and in their

own home. I will share it in this part. But let us start and understand the process of healing and clearing

more precisely as well.

ianaltosaar.com
How to make the best deals and form the best partnerships

1. First part identify that You have this problem. Asking for too little, being in abusive relationships

(work or personal), not daring to say what You mean and not being able to ask for what You want,

these are just some examples that You have at least some issues with Your self-worth.

2. Understand where the bulk of it is coming from. There are always more layers to peel off, etc. but the

core issue usually lies within an aspect or two and a position of a planet etc. (the ones that we

discussed earlier). Once You understand this, You as a grown-up person can make better judgments.

For example, when You were ve years old, Your brother told You that You are ugly. Or something

stupid like that and similar. You internalized it and never spoke of it to anyone. Nor did he remember

to apologize and make amends. And now when You are 36 You are constantly displeased with Your

appearance, and it also affects how You generally feel about Yourself, etc. Which in turn is not

allowing You to ask for more and be in more pleasant relationships, etc. But when You look at Your

natal chart You can see that Saturn in the 3rd house is squaring Venus in Your chart (or the ruler of

the 2nd). From that we can already start exploring the relationships You had with Your relatives and

siblings that You might have internalized.

3. Looking for the way out = looking for the aspects that help us in that situation. Maybe the ruler of the

8th is Pluto, and it is sending a trine or a sextile to Venus. Seeing a counselor, therapist, spiritual

healer, hypnotherapist, or an astrologer!!! Is Your way out of the situation. And will help You heal.

Look for positive aspects, strong placements in the chart, to help You out of it.

4. The more obvious ones are meditation and sitting with Yourself. I know these can seem like trivial
things and “everyone” is speaking about them, but these are free for You to do and the most powerful

ones. All You need is time, commitment, and dedication to do it. The amount of healing and power

that can arise from just sitting with Yourself is one of the most understated things in our reality. And

it is completely free!

5. And now I will share with You the pieces I put together with psychology, astrology, and the thoughts

we keep on having. Most of these ideas, thoughts, and patterns we have about our worth are just that,

ideas, and thoughts. And although it is helpful to realize where the origins come from (Your brother,

mother, father, uncle, grandparents etc.) and what the actual situation was, it is equally important to

start changing those beliefs.

ianaltosaar.com
How to make the best deals and form the best partnerships

6. We already got the rst part down, we know that we believe that we are worthless, and we do not

have con dence, we do not know how and what to ask for, etc. Now it is time to get extremely

speci c with those beliefs. Let us say Your brother said You are stupid and do not know anything (I

know it’s a simpli ed example, but these things fester and are rea rmed later in life, and then

become beliefs). It is now time for You as an adult to see that You are smart and capable. And the

validity in Your brother’s statements is misguided at best. But a belief is usually well established

when we get to our adult years and to completely change it, it takes time. Or at the very least, start

changing it. For this we need repetition. What I want You to do is to record an audio, with Your own

voice (it is much more powerful with Your own voice) with the opposites of Your beliefs from

childhood (that we or You have identi ed through astrology and being with Yourself and asking

questions). In this case we had “I’m stupid and don’t know anything” and we can change it to “I’m

smart, intelligent, capable and know a lot of things”. (I came to this idea and created my own version

of this when I heard Marisa Peer (other psychologists use this technique as well) speaking about

this, and then I put my experience with astrology into it. Combining two worlds.)Just a heads up,

most beliefs are to do with not being good enough, not having enough, or believing You cannot get

enough. Throw some of those in the recording as well that You most identify with. For example, “I am

enough”. Simple as that. The recording should be around 1-5 minutes long. Especially important that

during the rst 30 days You are vigilant with the routine of listening to it every day. After that You can

ease up but still, You can most likely nd 5 minutes of Your day, be it after waking up or before going

to bed. Be vigilant with this. The length of how long You need to use it depends on You speci cally.

Some need less time to change beliefs, some more. Important disclaimer! This alone will help but it

will not heal You completely. It is important to see the root causes as well, either through healers,

energy work, therapy, or meditation etc. These should be used hand in hand.

ianaltosaar.com
How to make the best deals and form the best partnerships

7. I am personally still using it (after 1,5 years) and if I discover something deep within myself (but so

far everything is still associated with not feeling good enough at their core) I will change the

recording. And when You feel like You are done with it, take a break and come back to it or change it

when necessary. For bonus points, add music to Your words as well, this can become Your

meditation.

Bonus exercise for the really courageous to conquer Your fears. If You are not ready to try this alone that is

okay. Get to a safe enough space to be able to do so.

1. Sit comfortably, You can use music or whatever makes You feel more comfortable.

2. Close Your eyes and start to visualize the worst fear You have that You are currently dealing with. For

a lot of people this is jealousy or cheating, losing their jobs or money, even ying a plane. You can

use this for all of them.

3. Visualize a scenario that really gets that fear going, uncomfortable sensations moving through Your

body etc. and then just stay in those sensations. Really see whatever that You are afraid of deeply,

and sit with it, let everything rise without judgment. All of the anxiety and whatever comes with it.

4. This next part is really important!!! You need to stay in this for at least 5-7 minutes, this how long it

takes to conquer or to be with these feelings to be okay with them. If You can't do it at rst, get back

on the horse and stay with it all for at least 5 minutes.

5. Once You are able to do that, new feelings and sensations will begin to emerge. This is what I

personally call taking Your power back. You will no longer be the victim or those uncomfortable

feelings. You will start to see the absurdity of it all.

6. Do this as many times and as with many things as necessary. And You can use this later with new

fear. Don't rush Yourself and take one thing at a time!

This is it! Thank You all for being with me thus far. I wish You many blessings and the ability to see Your

true value in the world. As well as ask for what You truly believe You are worth!

Remember that the world is changing, and we must change with it. If others cannot offer what You believe

You are worth, go and create it Yourself!

Bonus sec on Venus remedies

In this section I will share some practical and mystical remedies with each Venus placement that can

cultivate more self-worth in Your life. Some activities for You to do knowing Your Venus placement in the

chart.

An important question for all the signs to ask "What am I truly afraid of deep down that is stopping me

from asking what I want, need and desire in life?" It will come as a surprise but these answers will still be

connected to love. Not receiving enough, afraid of losing it or afraid of not getting it. Although, You will

have different stories attached to these, the gist is still love.

Venus in Aries
Venus in Aries is considered by many to be in it's fall position, and understandably so. Venus wants

partnerships, Aries wants to be independent. But considering self-worth issues, this placement has not

stood out as the worst in my experiments.

Practical remedies/activities for this placement:

1. Anything sports and physical activity related. Kickboxing, martial arts. Anything that gets the body

moving and works on Your muscles/body. The more beautiful the body, or the more You are happy

about Your body, the better You feel about Yourself as well.

2. Be assertive in Your relationships, dare to ask what You want (this You need to practice), be bold

with Your desires and needs, as well as expressing them.

3. Moving and movement in nature = here we are combining the best of the two worlds. Aries is

movement and Venus is nature.

4. Issues regarding anger, more aggressive expression towards them during childhood. I've had a couple

of examples of this. Need to work on releasing judgment, anger towards the parent who basically did

this to them!

5. You can also experiment with wearing red colored clothes and jewelry.

Venus in Taurus
Although Venus is in it's domicile position (strong), it doesn't mean that You or the person having this

position will never have self-worth issues. Remember that we have multiple indications of self-worth in a

chart. Look out for di cult aspects to the Venus in Taurus to see possible issues.

Practical remedies/activities for this placement:

1. Spending time in nature, connecting with nature. This will help You ground Yourself and get those

good and positive vibes going. If at all possible, connect Your feet with the earth itself (when the

weather is warm, during the summer, etc).

2. Allow Yourself some material possessions and pleasures. Food, restaurants, music, jewelry, nice

clothes. Denying Yourself these things constantly can internally make it seem like You are not

worthy Yourself because a chunk of Your self-worth comes from really earthly and practical matters.

3. Gradually learn to see and build up Your self-worth. As Taurus is an Earth sign and slow moving, it

can take time for You to see the truth of it.

4. Organize and stay on top of Your nances. As already mentioned, the Venus in Taurus gets a lot of

it's self-worth from material things. If these are in order, You will feel much better about Yourself.

5. Wearing pink clothes. I've also seen a lot of Tauruses attracted to wearing purple. With Venus here

You can also give it a shot. Jewelry as well.

Venus in Gemini
Considered exalted by the ancients (not so much in modern times), this position doesn't guarantee high

self-worth. Because of my intimacy with this position, I can say that it can even attract shallow (or be

attracted to) shallow things, people. Things that don't have no substance. This can also translate into a

shallow seeing of Your own self-worth. Especially when younger.

Practical remedies/activities for this placement:

1. Talking, speaking, communicating with someone and expressing Your desires, wants and needs can

do wonders for this position. The key here is to be able to do so in a non-judgmental environment.

Again, especially when You are younger. Can build up strength later on and just the ability to express

Yourself verbally (and Your ideas) is crucial.

2. Same goes with writing and the written word. Keep a journal or a diary, write down Your thoughts,

feelings about situations.

3. If possible add walking to Your routine. Walking and speaking about different matters will be

enjoyable as well as cultivate that sweet self-worth nectar.

4. A lot of Your self-worth issues come from the ideas You have about Yourself. What You think with

Your mind. Start writing these down, speaking about them and making adjustments where necessary.

Negative self talk is what can sti e You (especially if bad aspects). Change the thoughts and You will

change Your worth.

5. Wearing light-green or turquoise clothes, jewelry.

Venus in Cancer
This position is considered di cult by many, and yes a certain kind of neediness (which can also be

translated to low self-worth) is there. Please remember that with aspects, things can somewhat improve or

be a lot better.

Practical remedies/activities for this placement:

1. The neediness needs to be explored with this position. Is it there? What are the origins of this? Why

don't You feel safe within Yourself alone? These are some of the questions You need to ask. Self-

worth issues very often related to early childhood or mother. Or whoever was the more nurturing

parent.

2. A lot of self-worth with this position comes with (or from) starting a family or investing (owning)

property. Although, not always easy to do but something to move towards and to keep in mind.

3. Find ways that make You feel nurtured, taken care of, safe. Important to distinguish what the

activities are for You. If You feel that, You will feel worthy.

4. As Cancer energy can think and feel that everyone should just intuitively pick up (or feel) what they

need and what they are worth, the challenge here is also to start speaking this out loud. Practicing

asking for what You want instead of keeping it inside and guarding it. It is not enough to feel what

You want, ask for it as well. A question to ponder here before You do it to make it a little easier

"What do I need to feel safe?" The safer You feel, the easier it is to ask for it.

5. This is a bit out of the box but in these modern times there are even people who offer nurturing as a

service. I've seen people offer hugging therapies where they come to Your home and cuddle, nurture,

hold You etc. Some words of caution, get to know the person if You decide to try this out rst!

6. Wearing grey and silver colored clothes, jewelry. Even white as well I've seen with Cancer.

Venus in Leo
Another di cult position for Venus (similar to Aries) where the sign is very individual, autonomous but

Venus requires diplomacy. They don't match well in that sense. But self-worth wise, I haven't yet seen many

issues or problems with this placement alone. On the contrary, Venus in Leo can think the world of

themselves as well. Even take it too far and think they are better than others. (Again, depends on the

aspects.)

Practical remedies/activities for this placement:

1. Allow Yourself to have fun, go out an about on the town. Parties, restaurants, theater, entertainment.

2. You do desire and want the best for Yourself, be open to expressing that as well. Be bold with the

things You actually want.

3. Opening the heart. This applies to many Leo positions but with Venus it is also important. Explore

what is blocking the heart, who You haven't yet forgiven (usually it's still to do with men or father

because of the Leo nature of the matter) and start releasing judgments towards them. The more You

release and open up, the more Your own sense of worth can ow freely as well.

4. A lot of issues with self-worth are linked to men or father gures in life. These are the most common

and the person should be looking at those relationships thoroughly.

5. A lot of self-worth issues are tied to neglect from the father gure. If the child experiences

abandonment in an early age, it's easier to go towards narcissism and different forms of this later on.

The solution later in life is to give Yourself the love and attention You require. Forgiving the father in

the process as well. Releasing judgment towards him.

6. Wearing bright colors, yellow and orange. As well as gold jewelry or some brighter stones.

Venus in rgo
One of the most di cult placements for Venus. This is true in my work and experience with people as well.

Virgo can be very critical, picking on each and every detail. As You can imagine, this would be very di cult

to handle from a self-worth perspective. Every little wrinkle or thing You do seems like end of the world and

is cause for fear. Because if the individual is not perfect, they are not worthy of love!!!

This is the most common belief deep down for these people. Although it might be covered with many

layers of denial, this is usually the case. Remember, it is hard and painful to look at these things as they

truly are, it seems easier to suppress them at rst.

1. Helping others and helping women in need. Being of service to them. Remember, Venus in Virgo

sense of self-worth comes either from being perfect or being of service. Impossible to be perfect,

easier to be of service and help people.

2. Sweet and healthy foods, organic if possible. Straight from nature (go into the woods) if You can.

3. Helping animals, those in need. But has to be careful with this, remember boundaries!

4. Has to explore childhood! The root cause " I only get love when I'm perfect or if I help people" starts

(most often, I haven't seen yet that any of these patterns start later) still in childhood. Look at the

relationship with the parents, family members, the situations You were put in. Did You have to work

for love? How did You get attention or love and for what during Your childhood?

5. Doing good work in the world can increase Your self con dence but be careful here. It's easier to be

addicted to work, being of service because that can give You the love You lack inside.

Simultaneously work with that perfection wound.

6. Can really easily justify asking less money and working longer hours! I've seen this repeat now many

times with Venus in Virgo. Needs to start tracking it and get clear on where the guilt is coming from.

7. Wearing greenish or more laid back colors, jewelry. You can also go with white.

Venus in Libra
This is generally a very strong placement, Venus being in its domicile position. But at times we still have

aspects, transits that can cause issues. As the Libra energy can be indecisive, these people can at times

experience uncertainty about their worth or even doubt this. With di cult aspects it can uctuate more

towards the negative side of the scale. With positive ones, more towards the optimistic side that knows

what they are worth. Generally, not too worried about self-worth issues with this placement (unless a lot of

bad aspects to Venus).

Practical remedies/activities for this placement:

1. Enjoying art, design, architecture and culture. Putting Yourself in situations where You can allow

Yourself these re ned pleasures. Will make You feel better and increase that self-worth

simultaneously.

2. With the Libra I also like some sort of therapy or consultation. Someone who You can trust and who

can re ect back to You how amazing You truly are. Easier to see it that way.

3. Balancing out imbalanced situations in life. Some of the issues with self-worth can come from

experiencing a lot of imbalances during childhood that have left a mark on Your inner worth. At times

these can raise their heads during grown up life as well. You need to do Your best to actively balance

these situations.

4. If there's more doubt about Your inner sense of worth, again look to Your childhood experiences. Did

You have attention and love at one point? And then the next it was taken from You?

5. Wearing designer clothes, jewelry. Pastel colors, tasteful ensembles.

Venus in Scorpio
In my mind the most di cult position for Venus. Usually entails traumatic experiences with love in early

childhood. Which can include neglect, separation, control, manipulation. All of these di cult matters are

usually there. A lot of time, dedication and courage is needed with this position to heal it.

Practical remedies/activities for this placement:

1. Connecting deeper with Your feelings and emotions. As some of the events and patterns are so

deeply suppressed here, this requires time and courage. Be open to being with these painful feelings,

memories and experiences. The more You allow Yourself to fall into it, the stronger You become

after. I've seen this happen right before my eyes. But the di culty with this position is to rst

acknowledge that You have these problems, and then nding the courage to go into them. Very often

suffering in real life will push these people towards transformation. But You can take a more active

approach as well.

2. Therapy with therapists who can go deeper. I would usually choose the people who have one foot in

the material realm but don't shy away from the esoteric, deeper areas. They can help You uncover the

root cause (which is still lack of love, losing of love or the fear of not getting love), easier to release

if You see the moments clearly that made You believe what You believe about Yourself. These

beliefs are most often connected to real life events that the young child twists in their mind to mean

something about themselves. If not dealt with, this can grow into beliefs and understandings in

grown up life that cause suffering for You and others.

3. The gist or meat of this position is to nd the source who took away Your love, then heal it Yourself

and discover how powerful and worthy You truly are.

4. Letting Yourself feel the lack of love = the problem with this is that You are actually doing the

opposite, You are trying to control situations in Your life so that You will never feel it. This will only

make it worse and through that control You will create situations where You will lose love from the

outside. Only reason for this is for You to feel this fear and nally heal those internal wounds.

5. Wearing darker colors, jewelry. Dark orange, dark purple, dark red, dark brown, even black.

ianaltosaar.com

Venus in Sagittarius
Generally a more optimistic position. Self-love ows easily to these people, it is more easily accessible. It

doesn't however mean that there will not be any issues with a deeper sense of worth ever in their lives.

Practical remedies/activities for this placement:

1. I like meditation here with this position if there are some imbalances or problems with self-worth.

You can use guided meditations. Choose whatever feels comfortable.

2. Learning about higher knowledge, meaning can help out with opening those self-worth channels even

more.

3. Traveling and learning about foreign cultures, allow Yourself to do these. Will increase the feel good

part and with it Your sense of worth.

4. Fun and adventures as well.

5. The main source of problems here are Your beliefs about Yourself. Sagittarius rules our beliefs and

Venus our worth. You need to look at Your beliefs thoroughly, explore relationships with mentors,

teachers, father gures who might have caused these beliefs. Luckily the Sagittarius energy should

help You release these much easier than for example Scorpio.

6. If You can nd mentors that You trust later on in life or teachers, they can help You also to see the

truth of who You are. Meaning, they can increase Your worth or help to see it.

7. Wearing brighter colors, orange for example. Anything that can make You feel more optimistic, purple

as well. Add jewelry if needed.

Venus in Capricorn
From a general astrological point of view, this is considered a so and so position. I tend to see it similarly

because it can give results but usually later in life. Meaning, later in life the person has already discovered

and built up their true self-worth. At a younger age this is a bit more di cult to see and there can even be

problems with it. For the source of these problems look at what house this position falls into and where is

Saturn.

Practical remedies/activities for this placement:

1. You need to practically practice loving Yourself. Find practical proof that You are lovable. Might

sound a bit cold but this can help You see it. These high and mighty "spiritual truths" won't help You

much here.

2. Achieving material status can certainly uplift Your worth inside as well. Just be careful for it to not

mask over any deeper issues.

3. Similar to Scorpio (but not so intense and deep) the Capricorn energy hints at suppression and hiding

away. Even not being able to see Your worth. With Saturn this can be connected to elder gures in

Your life, some sort of authority gures (most often still the parents) that gave You attention or love

only for example when You abode by their rules, were a good boy or girl. Otherwise there might have

been an emotional coldness and distance. Lack of love is one of the keys here to work on again.

Even the inability to feel love or loved.

4. Seeing Yourself worth something aside from those material achievements and status. Hard work but

important to do. Like everything in Capricorn, this takes time and practice. But with time and effort,

results will come.

5. Be vigilant in Your practice of self-love. I propose a daily exercise for You. Each day, take 1-5 minutes

and write down some things lovable and worthy with You. Continue with this practice until it's

ingrained in Your psyche and You feel more lovable.

6. Wearing more reserved, classical colors and clothes. Traditional even. Not ashy but tasteful and

professional. Also, black and grey colors. Same applies to jewelry.

Venus in Aquarius
Venus in Aquarius is an intriguing position. Again the topics of uctuating self-worth and being distanced

in love early in childhood come to mind. Very often the themes are either one parent being farther away, or

some sort of separation with them. Even emotional distance with a parent can be the causes of this. This

can leave some holes within the person that need some lling up.

Practical remedies/activities for this placement:

1. Because of Your detachment to love, it is harder to nd true self-worth or love as well. Healing and

releasing the judgments towards the parents who weren't there, were away or that were "cut off" in

some shape or form is crucial. This will allow the self-love (which is actually worth) to start owing

again.

2. Friends can be a source of worth for You, or even economic achievement. Although, please be

careful with these. They can only mask the true reason for feeling the lack inside. Do Your best to

work on these matters simultaneously. Go towards friendships and material goals but also work on

those inner wounds. (Applies to all signs!)

3. It's a con icting position because one part gets love and self-worth from being with others in

relationships and friends. And the other part wants freedom. Some questions to ponder "Why does

my sense of self-worth come through groups and others?" "What am I afraid of happening when I let

myself truly love?" These can offer some clarity.

4. Wearing blueish colors, sky blue and darker blue. Even silver and grey colors. Can also consider

jewelry with these.

Venus in Pisces
Venus in its exalted position. The ultimate embodiment of universal love. Or if I'm a little less dramatic,

mostly a strong position considering worth. I've seen issues still when there are other con icting

in uences in the chart, or the Venus itself is poorly placed. (In the 12th house for example).

Practical remedies/activities for this placement:

1. Listening to meditative music, music in general. Even creating music and doing creative processes

like painting, poetry, etc. Guided meditations that are to do with self-worth issues.

2. Again, because of the mystical nature and the side of Pisces that can hide, the person can be

oblivious or not see their own true worth. Can go towards getting the things they want and desire in

backwards ways. Afraid to ask them directly (unless helping in uences in the chart).

3. Subconscious is the topic here as well. Need to use practices, therapies that open up the

subconscious. Past-life regressions, hypnosis, dream analysis, spiritual guides and seers can help to

see what can be blocking the ow of natural self-worth within the person. Be sure to not trust them

blindly = unfortunately saw this happen with a person who had Venus in Pisces in the 12th house and

turned to an esoteric for help.

4. Boundaries can also be a theme worth looking at. Are You giving too much and not getting much in

return? A lot of self-worth is connected with boundaries. If You continuously let Your boundaries be

crossed, people won't give You the respect and worth You actually deserve. (Some darker ones can

also start using You). Need to go back and see where this started, why are You allowing this? This is

usually because You believe that if You do that, people will love You and give You love.

5. Wearing deep blue colors, ocean colors, purple, even white. And jewelry with the same colors as well.

As You can see, many of these are still associated with the parents, people close to You or the childhood

environment. Depending on the sign, the judgment or the situation usually changes. But at the core, there's

still seeing, letting go, and releasing judgment towards these people.
