ACTIVITY DAYS: Science Fair - 19th January 2023: Science fairs are designed to ignite curiosity for the Sciences. Our DUSK annual Science Fair encourages active participation and problem-solving among our students. DUSK will be celebrating its annual Science Fair, where ES, MS and HS students will be showcasing their scientific knowledge and experiences by creating a botanical garden in the school, participating in a Quiz competition and presenting their constructed models and plans. Animal day - KG1 & KG2 - 22 January 2023: From a very early age it is important for children to learn about conservation and the protection of our wildlife. In any eco-system we should learn to co-exist and be respectful of our beautiful planet. The KG students will look at different animal species on earth and learn what makes them special. Our young learners will dress up as their favorite animal to join in with this adventurous day of learning, G4 - Gr 4 Community Helper - 22 January 2023: Our community leaders are our heroes! We salute our policemen, firemen, ambulance drivers and other special people within our community. On this special day we celebrate and salute those members of our community who help make the world a better place. Debate and Spelling Bee - 31 January 2023: In 2028 we are back with our Spelling Bee after a long hiatus from the pandemic. In our fun Spelling Bee, ES/MS/HS will go head to head with each other to see who wins the spelling of words the most accurately. Our annual Spelling Bee encourages learning new and exciting words and discovering the power and magic that words create, In tandem with our Spelling Bee this year DUSK will also have a debating competition. G11 and G12 will participate. Debating is an effective tool for public speaking and is a lifelong skill for any occupation or jab description. We invite all parents to attend and help contribute to the enthusiasm of this event.
