MATHEMATICS WORKSHEET
1. In the given figure, O is the centre of the circle and AB is a chord of
the circle. If AOB = 110°, find APB.

2. In the given figure, OABC is rhombus. Find AOB and BOC, where
‘O’ is the centre of circle.
3. In the given figure, O is the centre of the circle with radius 5 cm.
OP AB, OQ CD, AB || CD, AB = 6 cm and CD = 8 cm. Determine
PQ.

4. In the fig. AB and AC are two equal chords of a circle. Prove that bisector
of BAC passes through the centre of the circle.

5. Metal sphere, each of radius 2cm, are packed into a rectangular box of
internal dimensions 16cm× 8cm × 8cm. When 16 spheres are packed the
box is filled with preserved liquid. Find the volume of this liquid. Give
your answer to the nearest integer. (use π = 3.14)
6. A storage tank is in the form of a cube. When it is full of water, the volume
of water is 15.625 m3. If the present depth of water is 1.3 m, find the
volume of water already used from the tank.
7. A well 14 m deep is 2 m in radius. Find the cost of cementing the inner
curved surface at the rate of 2 per square metre.
8. Lead spheres of diameter 6 cm are dropped into a cylindrical beaker
containing some water and are fully submerged. If the diameter of the
beaker is 18 cm and water rises by 40 cm, find the number of lead spheres
dropped in the water.
9. If one angle of a parallelogram is 36° less than twice its adjacent angle,
then find the angles of parallelogram.
10.In the given figure, ABCD is a square. A line BM intersects CD at M and
diagonal AC at O such that AOB = 80°. Find the value of x.

11.In the given figure, ABCD is a square. M is the midpoint of AB and PQ


⊥ CM. Prove that CP = CQ.

12.State and prove Mid-Point Theorem.
