Today’s globally connected world requires advanced leadership skills
and an unconventional approach to business that extends far beyond
core functional competencies. Expanded global responsibilities, an

Who is it for?
Are you an experienced executive preparing to step into a global leadership role from a regional one? Or have you recently
become a CXO and want to build momentum while making an impact with your broader responsibilities? If these are the
opportunities you foresee in your current or future responsibilities, then the Global CxO Program is the right fit for you.

The program is also suitable for general managers who execute business transitions during alliances and collaborate with global
and regional stakeholders. Executives and current CXOs in small- to mid-sized companies will also find this program to be ideal
for accelerating their career goals.

Program eligibility criteria include:


• A minimum of 12 to 15 years of work experience
• International exposure (preferred)
• Fluency in written and spoken English

Comprehensive curriculum
The Global CxO Program will enable forward-thinking executives like you to learn from a cutting-edge curriculum that reflects current
industry trends. You will learn to formulate and execute global strategies, develop new approaches to manage global teams, and
lead growth-focused initiatives. The program is divided into two components—18 weeks of core modules followed by three online
electives of six weeks each. It concludes with a two-day networking and graduation event on the Wharton campus in Philadelphia.

Networking and graduation event (two days | on campus)

Meet your cohort peers and faculty in person on the Wharton campus in Philadelphia during a two-day
networking and graduation event. This event takes place once every four cohorts, providing an
opportunity to network with your peers as well as professionals from other cohorts to create a lifelong
community of global executives.

Executive reflection
You will have the opportunity to apply program insights to your organization’s challenges and develop potential solutions. There are
three reflections in the program, placed at the end of each phase of the core module journey—and they are essential for program
completion. The reflection journals are designed to help you take all that you have learned in the program curriculum, interaction
with your success coach, and discussions with peers to strategize for your organization’s unique global challenges.

• Inclusions: Teaching fees, all academic materials, and access to online coursework are included in the program fee.
• Exclusions: Accommodations for the two-day on-campus networking and graduation event, travel expenses
(domestic, international, visa fee, and more), and other expenses are not included in the program fee.
• Admissions to the program are evaluated on a rolling basis. We strongly recommend that interested participants apply early.

Pathway to Wharton alumni status


For more than 135 years, Wharton has been the place where visionaries, inventors, and trailblazers get their start. Subject to further
qualification criteria and additional tuition, completion of the Global CxO Program and subsequent open-enrollment programs, puts
you on a pathway to apply for Wharton alumni status.
Executives who successfully complete the Global CxO Program have the option of applying to the General Management Program
(GMP), which offers further opportunities to enhance your leadership skills and business acumen with a flexible curriculum.
The Global CxO Program provides one credit towards the six required to complete the GMP and earn alumni status. More
details on the GMP are available at Wharton Executive Education.

Upon qualifying for Wharton alumni status, you will be eligible to receive:
• Full access to become a member of 77+ Wharton alumni clubs
• Invitations to attend future Wharton global alumni forums
• A Wharton email address
