Course Introduction / Description:


The course will discuss the impact of the COVID19 pandemic on global trade and its far-reaching
technological, economic, and political consequences. The focus of discussions will be on global
supply chains, digital trade and connectivity, digital currencies, and trade Agreements. The
discussion will also include a geo-political understanding of current world trade and characteristics
of the new world trade order. The global context of all issues discussed would contain an India
perspective.

Course Learning Outcomes:

After completing this course, the participants should be able to:


1. Appreciate immediate concerns in global business in a post pandemic world
2. Role of digital trade and digital currencies in shaping the future of world business
3. Role of FTAs, Geopolitics in shaping the future for sustainable global trade and development
in line with UNSDGs.
