IPro SW Key Instruction Sheet

This instruction sheet provides information, necessary to unlock InteliPro optional functions
(options) by the IPro SW Key.

• Before you start the process of unlocking the InteliPro options, check that you have available the
appropriate IPro SW Key, unlocking the InteliPro options requested by you, and that it was issued
to the appropriate serial number. The IPro SW Key can be obtained from the SW Key generator
application, your ComAp sales representative or delivered together with the unit.

• Unlocking of the InteliPro options is done by entering the IPro SW Key to the setpoint of the
InteliPro unit.
• It is recommended that you enter the IPro SW Key using your PC, connected to the unit. However,
if this is not possible, you can also enter it directly through the InteliPro keyboard and display.

To unlock the InteliPro options by entering IPro SW Key through PC:

1. Connect your InteliPro unit to power supply 8 - 36 VDC.

2. Connect your PC through the appropriate connection to the InteliPro unit. Different connection
capabilities are available:
ƒ USB cable, connected via IL-NT S-USB plug-in card
ƒ RS232 cable, connected via IL-NT RS232 or IL-NT RS232-485 plug-in card
ƒ internet connection via IB-Lite
ƒ internet GPRS connection via IL-NT GPRS plug-in card
3. Start LiteEdit on your PC. Please note, that it is necessary to use LiteEdit 4.5.2 or higher to connect
to InteliPro unit. To download LiteEdit installation package, please visit www.comap.cz.

4. Open Setpoints menu and go to General / IPro-SW Key setpoint. Enter the IPro SW Key that
you have available for your unit either through copy / paste operation or directly through keyboard of
your PC. Please note that the IPro SW Key is case-sensitive.

5. Disconnect the unit from power supply and connect it back. The unit displays the Init screen during
power-up, containing information about the unit name, serial number, SW version and other

information. Press the button three times in this moment to enter the Options display screen.
Check whether all requested options are marked by "I", indicating that they are unlocked. If there is
any discrepancy between the options requested by you and the options marked as unlocked, please
contact your ComAp sales representative to check whether your IPro SW Key was generated
correctly.

To unlock the InteliPro options by entering IPro SW Key directly through unit
keyboard:
1. Connect your InteliPro unit to power supply 8 - 36 VDC.

2. From the measurement screen, enter the setpoints menu by the button. List the group General

by up and down arrows and press . In the group General, list the setpoint IPro-SW Key and

press . The setpoint editing screen will appear, allowing entering the IPro Sw Key digit-by digit.

3. By buttons and , list through the character set to the appropriate character for the given

position. By button confirm the selected character and move to the next right position. Please
note that the IPro Sw Key is case-sensitive. After filling-in the complete IPro SW Key string, press

at the last position to store the entered IPro SW Key. To leave the editing without saving,

press the button.

4. Disconnect the unit from power supply and connect it back. The unit displays the Init screen during
power-up, containing information about the unit name, serial number, SW version and other

information. Press the button three times in this moment to enter the Options display screen.
Check whether all requested options are marked by "I", indicating that they are unlocked. If there is
any discrepancy between the options requested by you and the options marked as unlocked, please
contact your ComAp sales representative to check whether your IPro SW Key was generated
correctly.

Are all your requested options marked with "I"? Congratulations, your InteliPro unit is ready for
use!

To finish the complete process of unlocking InteliPro SW Options, check the unlocked options in the
table on the rear side of InteliPro:
