A chemical engineer is a career that designs and develops chemical
manufacturing processes and equipment. Chemical engineers can
work in many fields – cosmetics production, pharmaceuticals, oil
extraction, energy processing, paper and pulp manufacturing,
industrial chemical manufacturing, or other fields.
Chemical engineers may be exposed to toxic chemicals or
substances that may cause severe health issues. However, on the
other hand, it is a worthwhile job since it can contribute to the
environment and people by developing more energy-efficient
processes or manufacturing safe household chemicals.
Chemical engineers have a median salary of $91278.
Future outlook of chemical engineers in British Columbia is
moderated according to Job Bank Canada.
Life as a chemical engineer is quite busy, but I can get a high salary.
There are many career paths for chemical engineers. As I said
above, chemical engineers can work in various fields. They also
have a high salary, starting from $67000.
