INTERNATIONAL RECRUITMENT PROCESS ZIMBABWE

Flame Lily Independent Living Ltd is a family run business based in the United Kingdom. We
have been awarded an A-rating sponsor licence by the Home Office. We are recruiting for
Heath Care Assistants and Support Workers. Candidates recruited will travel to the UK for
work on a work permit. Candidates are required to work for us for 5 years. Failure to comply
will result in the work permit being cancelled by the Home Office. To ensure commitment
from our candidates, our recruitment process will be in 4 stages. All candidates will need to
meet a certain criterion for each stage before proceeding to the next stage.
INITIAL REQUIREMENTS

• Be over the age of 18.


• A minimum of 2 A’Levels. Alternatively, if you have 5 O’level subjects you should also
hold at least diploma certificate.
• Must be able to speak and write very good English.
• Driver’s licence (preferred but not essential).

You can only proceed to Stage 1 if you meet the initial requirements above.

STAGE 1 – INTERVIEW PROCESS

• Complete the application form found on www.flamelilyindependentliving.co.uk.


• Email your CV to recruitment@flamelilyindependentliving.co.uk.
• Send supporting documentation to recruitment@flamelilyindependentliving.co.uk.
• Send details of 3 references to include your 2 last employers where applicable.
• A virtual interview will be arranged once all documentation including application form,
CV etc are obtained.

Successful candidates will be informed by email and only then can they proceed to Stage 2.
STAGE 2 – REQUIREMENTS FOR SKILLED WORKER: HEALTH AND CARE
All expenses in this stage will be funded by the candidate. This will be your commitment to
the process.
Documents Required

• Provide a certified copy of your passport.


• A valid Tuberculosis certificate must be obtained from a UK approved clinic in
Zimbabwe, Diagnostic Imaging Centre (DIC), 17 Lanark Road, Belgravia, Harare. This is
the only approved centre in Zimbabwe.

• Provide a certified copy of your valid Zimbabwean or International driver’s licence
(Preferred not essential)
• Provide a certified copy of a valid police clearance certificate.
• Provide certified copies of all your required education certificates for example O’Levels,
A’levels, Diploma, Degree etc.
• Proof of IELTS for UKVI test certificate. (Free webinars and practice questions available
on https://www.britishcouncil.co.zw/.) Exams can only be booked with the British
Council (Cost US $315)
• Alternatively, if you hold a minimum of an undergraduate degree taught in English, from
any other country except for United Kingdom then you will need proof that your English
language proficiency is of the required standard. Visit Visas and National Services on
https://ecctis.com/Qualifications/VAN/Default.aspx. (Cost £140)
• Nurse Aid training will be provided by either St Johns or Red Cross. Our preference as an
organisation is St Johns.

will need to verify your original documents prior to submission. Stage 3 will ONLY
commence after the documents have been verified.

STAGE 3 VISA APPLICATION

Once we have received all your documents from Stage 2 and they are verified then Flame
Lily Independent Living will commit to the following:

• An Offer of Employment Letter will be issued to you.


• A work contract including Terms and Conditions of your employment will be issued
to you.
• A UK Home Office Certificate of Sponsorship to enable your application for a work
permit will be issued to you. The applicant will have to fund this. (Cost will be
approx. USD 500, please check and confirm with the British Embassy).
• Additional training will be provided by Flame Lily Independent Living virtually. (No
charge to the applicant, you will only require internet connection and a device).
Once a work permit has been obtained and this stage is complete then the applicant can
proceed to STAGE 3

STAGE 4 -RELOCATION PACKAGE.

• Flame Lily will assist with booking flights if required and contribute a percentage of
the ticket price. This will be deducted from your salary once you start work with us.
• Accommodation will be sought for you and the first month will be rent free.
• Flamelily will assist with opening of a bank account.
• Flamelily will provide a company mobile phone (there are terms and conditions to be
observed).
• A salary advance of up to £500 will be on offer if needed when you arrive. This will
be deducted from your salary over 6 months.
• Mentoring and advice on life in UK available.
• Assistance where possible to apply for spouse visas for your husband/ wife and
children.
