Maryknoll School of Sigaboy, Inc. has established Youth for Environment in Schools
Organization (YES-O) in order to raise awareness to the students in the importance of planting
and saving trees; and reduce the unfavorable effects of climate change.

Hence, Maryknoll School of Sigaboy, Inc. in collaboration with YES-Organization, will conduct
a Tree Planting this coming February 7, 2023 with a theme “Listen to the Voice of
Creation”.

In this connection, I would like to request in your good office to provide us the location and 240
seedlings for the aforesaid activity. This activity aims to give the MSSI students’ and teachers’ a
chance to have first-hand experience to contribute to the sustainable development on
environment.

movement towards safeguarding, protecting and conserving the environment inside and outside
the school campus.

Hence, Maryknoll School of Sigaboy, Inc. in collaboration with YES-Organization, will conduct
a Coastal Clean-Up this coming November 29, 2022.

aforesaid activity. This activity aims to raise awareness about marine pollution and contribute to
the reduction of garbage and plastic in the ocean.

Organization (YES-O) in order to serve a significant value for pupils’ and students’ action and
movement towards safeguarding, protecting and conserving the environment inside and outside
the school campus.

Moreover, the Yes-Organization proposed a plan to have a ROYGBIV RUN during Intramurals
Day, on October 17, 2022 at 5:30 am (call time), in order to raise funds for the YES-O project.
The said activity will be joined by the Grade 4-6 pupils and Grade 7-12 students. The fun run
will kick off at Timbo, Governor Generoso, Davao Oriental, near at the Inojales Residence.
