All threaded fasteners that do not have a tightening torque specification in the information are
tightened to a standard torque. Standard torques are available in the following specification.➠
Standard tightening torques
1 Park the vehicle on a level surface with the steering wheel in the straight ahead position.
2 Apply the parking brake.
3 Place the gear lever in neutral.
4 Install the wheel chocks.

7 Identify the cable harness routing and end points.

8 Cut the connector at the base of the branch.
9 Seal the wire ends.
10 Cut the connector at the base of the branch.
11 Seal the wire ends.

12 Disconnect the connector.
13 Remove the pins.

17 Insert the pins into the connector.

18 Connect the connector.
19 Torque tighten the screw.
Tightening torque
Main Bulkhead Pass Through Connector 30 – 35 Nm
20 Connect the connectors.
Item Description
21 Secure the cable harness with cable ties and tape as needed.
Note
Ensure that the cable harness is secured properly.
22 Lower the bonnet.

23 Connect the cable to the negative terminal.
24 Check the fog lamps for proper operation.

37346-2 Fog lamp harness module, replace

2 Apply the parking brake.

3 Place the gear lever in neutral.

4 Install the wheel chocks.

5 Disconnect the cable from the negative terminal.

6 Unlatch and raise the bonnet.

7 Identify the cable harness routing and end points.

Fog lamp cable harness module connections

1 Left side fog lamp connection

2 Right side fog lamp connection

Bulkhead pass through

8 Cut the connector at the base of the branch.

9 Seal the wire ends.

10 Cut the connector at the base of the branch.

11 Seal the wire ends.

12 Disconnect the connector.

13 Remove the pins.

14 Cut the disconnected wire at the base of the branch.

15 Seal the wire end.

16 Route the overlay cable harness.

1 Left side fog lamp connection

2 Right side fog lamp connection

Bulkhead pass through

17 Insert the pins into the connector.

18 Connect the connector.

19 Torque tighten the screw.

Main Bulkhead Pass Through Connector 30 – 35 Nm

20 Connect the connectors.

1 Right side fog lamp connection

2 Left side fog lamp connection

22 Lower the bonnet.

Ensure that the bonnet is latched.

23 Connect the cable to the negative terminal.

24 Check the fog lamps for proper operation.

25 Remove the wheel chocks.
