The Parthenon was completed in 432 B.C, in Greece.

This former temple is the pinnacle of


the Doric order.

By comparing Hellenic art with prehistoric art we can appreciate how the techniques applied
to art have evolved and developed over time, previously art was more primitive without
taking into account all this complex mathematics like in the Hellenic period.
Architectural structures were pretty basic.

We can appreciate five columns in the left hand side while in the right there’re three
columns, both three and five are Fibonacci numbers which are closely related to the golden
ratio.
This monument has a tangible heritage because it is a work of architecture made by man in
ancient times and it is still conserved to our days. It was made with materials and techniques
according to their period.
