Design Brief for Nita

Deliverables:
1. 180 1000x1000 px designed math questions using Canva resources.
2. Editable Canva Project, so client can tweak the design if required.

Steps:

Based on question theme:

1. Search for possible templates. For example:
a. Question: There are 10 cookies in a jar. If Sarah eats 1 every day, how many cookies will
she have left in the jar after one week?
b. Possible themes to use:

2. Change Heading to “Challenge” non-caps, non cursive.

3. Copy-Paste Question in smaller font, non caps, non cursive fonts. Left Justified.

4. Add design elements related to the question. For example: Mr Tom wanted to buy some blankets
for a school road trip. He booked 2 rooms with 3 beds each for the children. How many blankets
must he get?
a. Search for camping elements in the Elements Tab, and apply it to the design.
End Result:

b. Refer to the visuals segment in the excel sheet. If there is a requirement to create a
design that would help in solving the question, create a design using elements.
For Example: Sarah was laying out some tiles for her home. Which tile would complete
the design?

Additional notes to bear in mind:

- Design should appeal to younger children, and be bright and cheery.
- Ensure enough contrast to ensure good readability of question and visual elements, especially if
the visual elements are crucial to the solving of the questions.
- Canva can store slides numbering up to 100. This means the project will be delivered in two
parts.
- 1-100
- 101-180
