Based on the chapters you read for homework (p.41-77) , answer the following
questions:

1. How does Christopher work out who his prime suspect is?

Christopher thinks that since most murders are committed by someone you know his prime
suspect is Mr. Shears as he believes he is the only person who might hate Mrs. Shears.

2. What did Christopher think about their parents?

I think Christopher loves his parents but he often treats them with indifference.

3. What makes Christopher think he would make a good astronaut? Do you agree
that he would qualify?

Christopher thinks he could be a good astronaut, as he explains the many ways in which the
job suits him: he's smart, he understands how machines work and he doesn't mind small
spaces, as long as he doesn't share them with anyone else.

I don't think he could be an astronaut because one of the things they ask you to do is to live
with one or more people for months at a time in very small spaces in space, which is one of
the things he hates.

4. What did Siobhan tell Christopher about the book he was writing?

She told him that the book was really good and that he should be very proud of what he had
written and that even though the book was short there are many short books that are very
good.

5. Summarize in 2 sentences what happens in chapter 97

Christopher on a super good day has a talk with Mrs. Alexander where he discovers that his
mother had intimate relations with Mr. Shears and he understands why his father said that
Mr. Shears was a bad man.
