Module 7-8
Cyclic Groups
I. Introduction
In this module, we will understand about the definition and properties of Cyclic Groups,
classification of cyclic groups and how to use this concept to solve certain problems.
Have a productive week everyone!
II. Objectives
Here are the objectives of our lesson. At the end of the lesson, you are expected to:
a. Explain the structure of a cyclic groups and determine examples and non-examples;
b. Derive properties of cyclic groups based on exploration
c. proves the properties of cyclic groups;
d. Apply relevant theorems to determine the subgroups of a given cyclic group and draw
its subgroup lattice.

V. Reflection
1. Write three (3) things you learn about the given concept.
2. What difficulty did you encounter in the topics presented?
3. Write at least two questions that you can generate from the discussion.
