CONSISTENCY compiling all the assignments for the entire semester.
Overall structure of writing assignments,
ORGANIZATION paragraph organization, sentence arrangement, 4 marks & NEATNESS and neatness of handwriting and arrangement of work.
Overall ability to synthesize information and
arguments from a number of sources and to state 4 marks opinion and justifications. LANGUAGE & VOCABULARY Overall language usage; words, phrases, figures of speech, quotes etc (to enhance writing), as well as tone of writing.
Overall ability to use grammatical structures well;
GRAMMAR & including subject-verb agreement, tenses, use of MECHANICS transitions, nouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs etc. 4 marks including spelling, capitalization and structuring of writing tasks.
Overall expression of opinion, stand, point of view, 4 marks
CRITICAL critical input into current issues; especially for the THINKING responses to the public speaking presentations & OPINION and argumentative writing practice.
