There are many amazing places in Kazakhstan, but I want to tell you about Kaindy Lake.

This is a high-altitude reservoir, located in the Tien Shan mountains at an altitude of 2000 meters
above sea level. The lake is known for its beauty and flooded forest, which is filled with sunken trees.It
is considered a natural landmark not only of the Almaty region, but also of the whole Republic of
Kazakhstan.
Its formation occurred at the beginning of the last century as a result of an earthquake. An avalanche
blocked the path of the river, and the valley was filled with water.
The trunks of fir trees stick out directly from the water surface of the lake. Interestingly, the trees are
not lifeless. If you dive, you can see green branches and needles.
The lake is not intended for swimming, because the water is cold, and even on hot days. But here you
can go diving, which is what most tourists do.
A trip to Kaindy Lake will appeal to all lovers of outdoor activities, wildlife and water sports.

There are many amazing places in Kazakhstan, but I still want to highlight one of them. This is
Shaitankol Lake, which translates to "Devil's Lake". Lake Shaitankol is located 5 kilometers from the city
of Karkaralinsk, it is surrounded by dilapidated granite rocks, and the lake itself is shrouded in many
legends and riddles, for example, people believe that Lake Shaitankol was created by the tears of the
mothers of Kazakh soldiers. Until now, scientists cannot determine the depth of the mountain
reservoir. Esotericists talk about a portal to a parallel world through its double bottom. Today, Lake
Shaitankol attracts tourists and if you are a brave person, then you should visit this mysterious place. It
is better to visit the Devil's lake in the warm season, since the road to it goes through the mountains
and in winter it will be difficult for you to get to it because of the snow. The lake itself, despite its
creepy legends and stories, is very beautiful, and its water is surprisingly sometimes black, and
sometimes bright blue.
