SOFTWARE V2.19 UPDATE AND MANUAL CHANGES

I. PLANNI NG INFORMATION:

A. Eff ectivit y:
IFR 4000’s with sof tware version 2.17 and lower.
B. Reasons:
Changes have been made to the IFR 4000 sof tware and the I FR 4000
Operations and the IFR 4000 Getting Started manuals have been updated.
C. Descr ipt ion:

• Sof tware change supports a new attenuator IC being installed in the RF

block.

• W hen a Marker tone is selected in the Marker Mode, a descr iption as to

which Marker tone it is and which Marker light color in the cockpit should
appear.

• Fixed a problem in G uided Test which caused it to lock up if the Step

button was pressed t oo f ast.

• Fixed a problem with the Peak Hold f unction not working correctly.

• Updat ed IFR 4000 G etting Started and IFR 4000 Operations manuals to
ref lect changes on Marker Mode screen.
