DENTAL ANATOMY PRACTICAL GUIDE

PRACTICAL SESSION 2

The dental anatomy practical session is oriented to visualize, identify, and differentiate the anatomical
characteristics of permanent teeth types.

OBJETIVES
1- Differentiate incisors, canines, premolars, and molars.
2- Identify and compare differences from maxillary teeth and mandibular teeth, in a general manner as
well as in a specific teeth type.
3- Identify and compare anatomical differences between central and lateral incisors, 1 st and 2nd premolars,
and 1st, 2nd, and 3rd molars.
4- Compare the similarities and differences between left and right in the same teeth type.

MATERIALS
1- Complete set of teeth.
2- Your theoretical class material and theoretical presentations.

AT THE END OF THE PRACTICAL SESSIONS THERE WILL BE A TEST TO IDENTIFY 5 TEETH
USING ANATOMICAL MODELS. NO NEGATIVE MARKING.
