distribution of the expenditure incurred in publishing a
book. Study the pie-chart and the answer the
questions based on it.
i) If for a certain quantity of books, the publisher has
to pay Rs. 30,600 as printing cost, then what will be
amount of royalty to be paid for these books? (3)

corresponding to the expenditure incurred on

32. A picnic is being planned in a school for class VIII. Girls are 60% of the total number of students
and are 18 in number. The picnic site is 55 km from the school and the transport company is charging
at the rate of Rs.12 per km. The total cost of refreshment is Rs. 1600, Based on the above information

(i) What will be the ratio of the number of girls to the number of boys in the class?
