TCAR 8 Part 145 was published on June 2020, 1st,
Summary
and entered into force on that day, the following
provisions shall apply:
• All repair stations approved according to previous ADCA Part 145 will have
to submit intention to apply for TCAR 8 Part 145

• All new applicants have to comply with TCAR 8 Part 145

• All domestic repair stations will have to be approved according to TCAR 8


Part 145 before June 1st, 2023, at the latest, they will continue to use their
granted privileges during that period

145.A.10 Scope
All technical and organisation requirements shall be met by an organisation to
qualify for the issue or continuation of an approval certificate for the
maintenance of aircraft and components.
Line Maintenance should be understood as any maintenance
that is carried out before flight to ensure that the aircraft is fit for
the intended flight, it may include:
• Trouble shooting,
• Defect rectification,
• Component replacement…such as engines and propellers.
• Scheduled maintenance and/or checks that DO NOT require
extensive in depth inspection.
• Minor repairs and modifications which DO NOT require
extensive disassembly and can be accomplished by simple
means.

• Not more than 10 persons involved in maintenance.
• Limited to the following:
• Class A2 Base and Line maintenance of aero planes of 5700 kg
maximum take-off mass (MTOM) or less (with piston engines only).
• Class A3 Base and Line maintenance of single-engine helicopters of
3175 kg MTOM or less
• Class A4 Aircraft other than A1, A2 and A3 aircraft.
• Class B2 Piston engines with maximum output of less than 450 HP.
• Class C Components.
• Class D1 Non-Destructive Testing.

145.A.15 Application for an organisation certificate 145.A.30(d) and 145.A.47

A. An application for a certificate or an amendment to an existing


certificate in accordance with TCAR 8 Part-145 shall be made in a form
and manner established by the CAAT, as specified in AMC 145.A.15
(“CAAT Form-2”).
B. An applicant for an initial certificate shall provide the CAAT with:
1. The results of a pre-audit performed by the compliance monitoring
function of the organisation against the applicable requirements
2. provided for in TCAR 8 Part-145; documentation demonstration
how they will comply with the TCAR 8 Part-145 requirement
Documentation submitted should contain the procedure for management and
notification of changes not requiring CAAT prior approval.

Already approved ADCA applicants will be authorized to continue their activities during the application process until 29 May 2022.
