M: He studied various university careers: Law, Economy and International relations, but then he realized that his
passion was photography.
M: In 1976 he moved to London, England. In this city he began to learn about photography. Her career in the fashion
world had humble beginnings, selling portfolios to aspiring models for the sum of £ 25, including makeup and hair.
With the passing of time he became more famous, he has worked with very prestigious magazines such as VOGUE
and Vanity Fair.
M: In 2012 he founded Centro Cultural MATE in Barranco, Lima, dedicated to the profession of Photography. Mario
has written many books: Front Row Back Stage, Let me in, in your face among others. In 2014 he was awarded by the
British Crown with the Order of the British Empire for his "contributions to photography and social good."
