Job Description

JOB INTRODUCTION

Implementation of ZBN Integrated Management System (IMS) including Quality, Health,

Safety and environmental best practice, across all elements of service delivery platforms
within ZBN, ensuring compliance with current health and safety legislation, approved codes of
practice and company policies and procedures. Focusing on adherence to service excellence
and continuous improvement of the management system.

Work proactively with managers to establish and maintain safe systems of work, and a safe
environment for colleagues and stakeholders.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITY

Job Description

To monitor the safety and health of the company and workers.

To ensure the safety of the workers doing works such as wearing safety goggles, face
masks, safety boots, welding shield and etc.
To improve working environment, housekeeping and physical arrangements.
To check and ensure the safety rules and regulation is followed.
Provide and maintain a safe plant and system of works.

Responsible for the planning and implementation of safety and health.

To check up and ensure all the machines and tools condition is safe to use.
To conduct or arrange for fire distinguish if necessary.
To ensure the safe working instruction and use of machinery.
Monitor and maintain the records and documents which related to safety issues
To conduct or call for meeting related to safety and health time to time.
To maintain and ensure safety signature is relevant and sufficient.
To conduct safety and health briefing and new update of safety regulatory time to
time.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

Bachelor Degree/Master/Professional Certification in Occupational in Safety & Health

Management or its equivalent.
Certificate of Safety & Health
Possess a Green Book registered with DOSH
Demonstrable achievement of continuous improvement in the workplace
Good organisational and communication skills, and production of concise information.
Able to conduct training and briefing.
Ability to prioritise, work to tight deadlines, both prescribed and self – imposed.
Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships at all levels.
Affiliation to a suitable professional chartered body.
Preferably Sabahan candidate.
