    MONKEYS IN THE BARRELS

    In an amusement park, some monkeys were


    accidentally released from the cage. The monkeys
    hid in these barrels as they were trying to be being
    recaptured.

    How many monkeys are in each of the barrels?

    Clue: There is an equal number of monkeys hiding


    in each of the barrels. Thrice the number of
    monkeys in each barrel increased by twelve is equal
    to 27.
