1. Why did you choose the life of Single Blessedness?

-I chose this life because I am the second to the youngest, and I must look out for my mother, a widow. My
older sisters and brothers are all married and have a life of their own. I decided to take care of my mother and be
with her all the days of her life. Since she is getting older daily, I want to make her happy and help her in every
way I can.

2. How does your life of Single Blessedness affect your:

a) relationship with your family and friends

-I am very blessed with the life that I have right now. I can spend most of my time taking care of my
mother and render my time to my sisters and brothers if they need me to look after their children or their
home. It is an avenue for me to strengthen my relationship with my family and friends by always being
available.

b) faith in God.
-Despite the fact that I do not have a strong relationship with the Lord, I still pray to him every day and
ask him to watch over my loved ones and family. Although I am praying, I am aware that my connection
with God needs to be intentional. I enjoy praying because it is an excellent way to begin a deeper
relationship with God.

c) involvement in the Church and Community

-I have never been involved in a particular community because I am busy taking care of my mother. I also
do not have a church that I am attending regularly because we live in a countryside, making it hard for me
to commute every Sunday and attend church.
