Data Gathered

This document contains data from a survey assessing the sleeping behaviors and academic performance of grade 12 STEM students. It includes tables with Likert scale responses on sleeping disturbances, duration, and patterns as well as academic performance. The survey used a 5-point scale to measure how often certain behaviors occurred. The data will be used to determine the correlation between students' sleeping behaviors and their academic performance.

Research Instrument

The survey questionnaires created by the researchers will be used as research instrument in
this study. It is used to assess students' sleeping behavior which affects their academic performance.

The test was put through the reliability and validity process. It was validated by the institution's
English Instructors before it was conducted, and a statistician were the ones who tallied and
computed the results. Also, the researchers utilized a Likert scale questionnaire. There will be a total
of fifteen (15) items on the first variable and another fifteen (15) items for the second variable, to find
the correlation between the respondents’ sleeping behaviors and their academic performance.

There will be three (3) indices under the first variable namely the sleeping disturbance, hours
of sleep, and the sleeping patterns. Another fifteen (15) statements under their academic
performance.

The basic scale is as follows:

5 Always – almost daily or daily

4 Usually – three to five times per week
3 Often – one to two times per week
2 Rarely – one to two times per month
1 Never – does not occur
