    EMPLOYMENT (MINIMUM RATE OF MATERNITY

    ALLOWANCE) REGULATIONS 1976*

    1. Citation.
    These Regulations may be cited as the Employment (Minimum Rate of Maternity
    Allowance) Regulations 1976.

    2. Maternity allowance.
    The minimum rate of maternity allowance for each day of the eligible period to which a
    female employee is entitled under section 37 (2) of the Employment Act 1955 shall be six
    ringgit per day.

    3. Revocation.
    Regulation 13 of the Employment Regulations 1957 is revoked.
