I.Learning Objective:
At the end of the lesson student should be able to:
a. discover the conflicts presented in literary selections and the need to resolve those conflicts in
non-violent ways (EN7LT-II-D-4)
II.Subject Matter:
a. Topic: Wedding Dance by Amador Daguio
Sub-topic: 4 common types of literary conflicts
b. Reference: K12 Grade 7 Learning Package English
c. Materials : Visual aids, Picture, laptop, and speaker
d. Value Focus: Importance of meaningful relationship and acceptance of one’s conflict .
III. Procedure:

The assigned Student will give their attendance sheet.
( The teacher will assign one student to get the attendance of the

 The teacher will ask the students about the
past lesson.

that let us recall our previous lesson”.

C. Motivation

The teacher will give a group activity. The teacher will


divide the students into two groups. The teacher will present a short
film entitled “My Beautiful Woman”. Each group will give their
ideas or insights about the short film. They will be given 3 minutes
to finish their task.

After watching the film, Each group will be going to discuss their
learning insights.

The film tells us that a child is very important in a family. She/he


has the right to live. In the film, the girl saw the child upon on the
garbage area. The conflict in the story are on the character itself (students’ are listening)
because she don’t know if she can raise the child properly and at the
same time , it is also a dilemma unto our society. The character
suffered a lot of hardships. But her commitment is where she must
give fully unto the child.

Before we proceed to our new lesson, let us first unlock the


meanings of words that we shall encounter as we go along in
dealing with our lesson.
