1.How will investing in early childhood development reduce the poverty of a country? ( 5 pts)

As what we have learned, early childhood education gives a boost in the development of a
child. When one is given quality education, it shapes and reduces the possibility of
developmental delays. From providing proper nutrition, teaching basic hygiene, playing with
sons/daughters, parents can guarantee their children a better future. It can help children
develop the cognitive and socioemotional skills, executive function, and motivation necessary
for success in school and beyond. Investments in ECE lay the groundwork for the development
of human capital required for individual well-being as well as more egalitarian and affluent
society.

are many opportunities for learning and growth.

3. What is the connection of the quote to the quality of development in early childhood years?
( 5 pts)

Provided with quality early childhood education, a child is influenced by the people
surrounding them. Parents, teachers, siblings, aunts, uncles, grandmas, and grandpas, even
godfathers and godmothers are big influences on a child’s development. Simple as stated in the
quote above, as early childhood period is when a child's brain develops rapidly, anything
taught by their surroundings sticks to them and will be a part of their memories.
