You may already be familiar with the idea of the electromagnetic field of the heart. Our
heart emits an electromagnetic field that is immensely powerful and measurable within six
In other words, we have an EMF of our own, and it’s a healthy, resilient, and wonderful
EMF, rather than a man-made, artificial kind. And this electromagnetic field is aligned with
every single organ in the body, by means of a process called entrainment, and is
In fact, the vibration and frequency of the heart entrains the whole body, including the
brain. When we look at a ECG (measuring the heart activity), and the EEG (recording the
brain activity), we see the heart reacts to things before the brain does, by as little as a

transforms us.
But there’s another category of plants - tonic herbs - which are not so much
about the aerie parts of the plant, or the actual aromatics.
Think about a rose - you aren’t going to bypass the bloom and smell the roots,
right? No, you’re going to put your nose deep into that bloom. Or mint, you’re not
going to pull it out by the root, you’re going to pluck the fragrant leaves and
flowers.
But when it comes to more tonifying herbs, we are typically going to be looking
at the roots, berries, or bark. These are the deeper-acting parts of the plants.
Note: Neither aromatic or tonifying herbs work specifically on only one part of
the body. Many of them work for mood or nervous system, or even to stimulate
or promote calming. They may help with your sleep, digestive system, your
endocrine system, skin and lungs. Each one has its own particular specialties.
They are as complex as we are. They are a universe like we are.
Now, the tonifying herbs, the tonic herbs that are berries, barks, or roots. These
are the deep things in the plants, and they work at the deepest levels of our
body.
Adaptogens are different plants and mushrooms that help your body respond
to stress, anxiety, fatigue, and more. They can be used by adding them to foods
and beverages, or even taking them as tinctures. They help bring your body
back to a balanced state by managing both physical and mental stressors.

regenerate.
For bacopa, for example, that would be used for someone who’s struggling or just
simply wants more cognitive enhancement. It’s very calming and helps you sleep.
That’s it's star power.
Whereas with ginseng, you could use this if you are running a cold, or have cold
hands and feet. Or you get a lot of colds and upper respiratory infections during the
winter months, and maybe have low vitality and feel a lot of sluggishness or fatigue,
or maybe have libido issues.
Take a moment and bring an herb to your mind’s eye, truly focus on it, whether it
be a rose, lavender or holy basil, whichever herb or plant you choose. You know
what that beautiful plant looks like, you can see it in your mind. Just close your
eyes and bring to your mind a radiant, aromatic flower, and just think about it for
15 seconds.
How did you feel afterwards?
Literally imagining the plant can be healing, that’s how rich our remembering is.
It’s almost like meeting up with an old friend, that ancient relationship that is so
vibrational, so strong that even when we go into our minds, we can literally
touch it and get transformed.
In fact, it’s so powerful that you can actually meditate on a plant, simply by
looking at a picture. That is a great way to feel the healing power of plants.
Of course, being in the presence of the plant is like a gift that keeps on giving,
such as planting lavender outside of your house. That’s when you truly
experience it, because when you walk outside, you can touch it, suddenly you
smell like it, and now you’re catching these little aromatic glimpses of it here and
there, wherever you turn. You’ve created this kind of love relationship with it.
Here’s an interesting fact: when you come into contact with a plant you love, you
release new compounds in your body as if you’re literally falling in love. You
release endorphins. And that’s part of the recovery piece of how plants help us.
They’re nourishing our nervous systems and also our hearts and our spirits.
Being in the presence of those plants, planting them in or around your home, is
another way to be in contact.
And then, of course, there’s compresses, and poultices, and so much more. It
really seems as though the sky's the limit for how these different herbs and
plants can be used. Just use your imagination, and follow your intuition.
It’s important to understand that sometimes you may have a reaction to certain
herbs, but even that can actually be a necessary reaction. An unpleasant
reaction can actually be a cleansing, healing reaction. Which is why you really
need to listen to your intuition on this.
Also, try to remain organic with your plants and herbs if you are buying them.
The vibration is of no comparison, obviously it doesn’t mean that they’re totally
free of pesticides, herbicides, and all of these harmful man-made chemicals,
but it does mean there is less of it.
It means that the plant compounds come And while people truly want to know the
