Activity 1

Answer the question:

1. Differentiate, what is all about strategic management evaluation, planning and

implementation.
Strategy implementation is about doing, while strategy evaluation is about
measuring results. Evaluation should consider all of the factors mentioned
above to decide whether or not a strategy has been successful. Strategy
implementation is the process of putting a strategy into action. This
includes all the steps necessary to ensure the strategy is executed
correctly, such as planning, organizing, staffing, directing, and controlling.
Strategy evaluation is assessing whether the strategy is effective and
achieving its goals. This includes measuring performance against
objectives, analysing results, and making adjustments as needed.
So, the main difference between strategy implementation and strategy
evaluation is that implementation focuses on doing things right, while
evaluation focuses on doing the right things. Both are important for
ensuring that a strategy is successful.
And when we say planning it is an organization's process of defining its
strategy or direction, and making decisions on allocating its resources to
attain strategic goals
