2.1.1 Motion Command Modes
SHT_DWN
‘Arun is interrupted because of a fault.
An event display (ErrLog = 2, Actual = 1) always explains the reason.
WT_F_SF
Wait for Saftey, the drive has no errors and waits for a motion com-
mand signal U or D with T (normal) or without T (inspection).
WT_RUN
Wait for Run, @ minimum wait time has to be considered before
any new state is entered.
This is necessary because of switch delay times of U,D or T.
The internal DC link voltage has to be monitored to be above
undervoltage level. When the voltage is OK, the CH- switch is
activated to bypass the charge resistors at the 3-phase line input.
After that, the state may change to one of the ‘run’: modes.
‘A minimum wait time has to be considered before the CH-switch
may be activated. This is necessary to avoid inrush current
damages in case of a defective DC-link voltage sensor.
In case the DC-link voltage is not OK within a time-out period,
the drive must enter shutdown mode.
RUN_UP
Normal run up (start with U and T)
RUN_DWN
Normal run down (start with D and T)
INS_UP
Inspection run up (U only)
INS_DWN
Inspection run down (D only)
ES
Emergency stop, during a normal run, the safety chain was switched
off (dropped U or D relay).

2.3.1 General
All event messages are classified in different groups or error classes.
‘Some events are displayed for INFORMATION (I) only, while others like WARNINGS (w) or
ERRORS (e) are displayed without consequence for the operation.
FATAL ERRORS (f) interrupt the current run, ie they cause a shut-down.
After x shut downs (6x) in a row the system will be blocked finally.

2.6 Explanations for Service Tool Displays in case of an error
In case of thermal overload of the inverter or brake risistor the elevator is stopped in the
ext floor (at normal run) and the blocking of the inverter is done until the overheat error
Following events cause a Shut down and a blocking of the inverter, if the error is occred
‘several times.

Name of Parameter Description
LFT BK DLY. [10 ms] | Lift brake deta
PREMAG PER [10 ms] _| Premagnetization period specifies the lime period
where the motor is energized before acceleration
PRET FREQ (0,7 Hz] | Specifies the frequency during the premagnetization
period
RMP DWN T2 [10ms] | Ramp down period during halt.
During this time (HALT) the speed profile is reduced
by a constant slope from creep speed to zero
DRP BK DLY TiOms] | Drop brake delay.
The brake should become effective after the drive has
stopped electrically. An expierenced value is about
100 ms less than the ramp down period,
ELHLT PER [1Oms] | Electrical halt period.
After the ramp down period the drive comes to final
stop still powered by the inverter.
The brake should become effective during this period.
DEMAG PER {10 ms] | Demagnetization period.
‘The inverter output is zero and the current is de-
creased before the inverter relay is dropped.
