FIELD INVESTIGATION REPORT:

A Field Investigation was conducted on Dimetrio Calimag’s Property, Lot No. 268, located in
Barangay Aga, Nasugbu, Batangas. The Field Investigation was conducted from December 18 – 19, 2022
by the undersigned together with Engr. Cherryl Dian C. Avila. The purpose of the investigation is to
assess the economic potential for commercial exploitation of the soil and rock materials of the property.

The property is generally covered by Tuff. Believed to be the product of the volcanic activity of
the nearby Taal Volcano in the past geologic time. Andesitic boulders encountered on the Galo River
was also recognized. This is believed to be transported rock fragments coming from the upstream of the
Galo River.

FINDINGS:

The andesitic boulders identified at Galo River are possibly transported boulders coming
from the upstream of the said river.

The tuff outcrop at the river and at the hilltop suggests that the andesitic boulders are
not in situ.

The andesitic boulders manifests good construction aggregates material. However, they
are limited in volume potential within the property. The volume will increase tremendously, if, we will
consider additional boulders outside the property.
 The soil materials covers a large portion of the property. They can be utilized as earth fill
materials. However, fill materials does not demand high price.

IN VIEW OF THE FOREGOING, THE ECOMIC POTENTIAL OF THE PROPERTY CAN BE

GENERALLY REGARDED LOW FOR QUARRYING PURPOSES.
