PURPOSE:
The purpose of the Foundation certificate is to confirm that a candidate has sufficient knowledge and understanding
of the COBIT 5 guidance to be able to understand the enterprise Governance and Management of Enterprise IT,
create awareness with their business executives and senior IT Management; assess the current state of their
Enterprise IT with the objective of scoping what aspects of COBIT 5 would be appropriate to implement. The
Foundation level training and certificate is also a pre-requisite for the following training and certificate courses:
• COBIT 5 Implementation
• COBIT 5 Assessor
• Implementing NIST Cybersecurity Framework using COBIT 5

of Protiviti Kuwait.
• Was responsible to oversee all operations relating to maintenance of risk-reducing IT governance processes for $500M
Consumer Banking Technology & Operations project portfolio of 500 applications in Bank of America.
• Earned several Gold and Silver Leading the Way awards for IT Governance, Risk Management, and PMO management, plus
multiple Global Recognition awards.
• Played key role in development of governance processes rated as Best in Class by external regulators. Program later adopted
by other business units within company.
• Led the establishment of a Risk Audit Control Framework, based on COBIT methodologies, to maintain key control health
metrics for Consumer Banking Technology Governance in the US, UK, and EMEA.

• Deployed strategies to ensure disaster recovery, control planning, PCI and SOX compliance issues resolved.
