COVERAGE ‘This Order shall cover the classification of motor vehicles of both LTO and LTFRS consietent with the Philippine National Stendards (PNS 1891:2006 ICS 43.04.01) on the dassification and definition of power-driven vehicles, Section 3. Modified Motor Vehicle ~ refers to any physical change or alteration in the existing motor vehicle design such as body configuration, engine displacement ‘and sthers except those enumerated in Seclion 5.2 and which shall be subject to the inspection by the Motor Vehicle Inspection Center (MVIC) prior to its registration. : PNS 1891:2006 — refers to the OT! Bureau of Product Standards adoption of end adherence to the Classification and Definition of Power-Driven Vehicles and ‘Trailers under the 16 Apt 1999 Consolidated Resolution on the Construction of Vehicles of the United Nations Economic and Social Council (UNECE), attached hereto as Annex A Customized Locai Road Vebicle (CLRV) ~ refers to a motor vehicle thet is- manufactured, assembled or rebuilt using new or remanufactured parts or 2 combination of both, driven or used upon highways for the purpose of transporting people and/or, goods as per PNS 2060:2007 and shail be registered 28.2 sebuilt vehicle, Customized Local Road Vehicle Classification — refers to the classification of customized local road vehicles specified in PNS 2060:2007 Certificate of Conformity (COC) ~ refers to a certificate issued by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources to 2 vehicle manufacturer/atsembler or importer certifying that @ particular new vehicle or vehicle type meets the requirements provided under the Clean Air Act and its rules aiid regulations. New Motor Vehicle — refers to a vehiele construcied entirely from new parts that are submitted to LTO for inital registration oe ‘Rebuilt Motor Vehicle — refers to a locally-assertbied vehicle using new or used engine, major patts or components. Modified motor vehicle whether new or CLRV manufactured, assembled or rebuilt shall be indicated in the Ceftificate of Registration issued by the LTO.
