Mareva arrives within the celestial observatory, the Giants studying it clearly in a sort of panic.

It appears
that the Observatory is filling itself with a sort of energy, drawn from the moon Brimstone. Suddenly, an
emphereal voice filled the room. The Giants ceased their commotion, while Mareva stood stunned in
silence. The voice was familiar, that of Aekon. But Aekon is dead, how could this be?

The voice called out.

*"Mareva, my prodigy. What you hear is an echo of myself. a fragment of what once was. I have placed it
here to study what will occur. I had desgned this observatory to see this event, but it appears that I did
not make it here. This was intended to be a way to harness intense energy to enhance the Great Climb -
or in dire times, turn it into a weapon. It's energies are building up, and it is locking Brimstone in place.
Do what you feel is correct, my time is no longer*"

The Voice dissipted from the room. a magical control area raised up in the center of the room. Mareva
approached it, and saw what the voice had said was true. The power here was locking Brimstone in
place. it was dissipating the veil between the planes, and if left unchecked, could have catastrophic
consequences. But there was opportunity here. The energy could be released and redirected.

It is too slow to target a deity, but could be used to destroy a city or even a Leviathan. Mareva could also
dissipate the energies. But she had to make a choice.

**[What will Mareva do?]**
