JSW Colouron+ - High Gloss & Anti-Dust
The duo-power coating on your roof makes them low on maintenance & high on
beauty. With the power of dual protection for your roofs, High Gloss and Anti-Dust
variants ensure a glossy appearance and auto cleaning ability. Your roofs look
bright, fresh, and clean even after years of natural exposure. The anti-dust
property of the roof does not allow the dust to settle on the roof hence it keeps
the roof clean, and dust-free too. The stained surfaces can be easily cleaned
physically with wet or dry wiping, by simply sprinkling water or even naturally, via
wind and rains.

JSW Colouron+ - Cool Roof
Curated for homes built across high-temperature terrain, the Cool Roof feature in
the upgraded sheets helps in maintaining temperature in your house round the
year. White and pastel shades have relatively lesser solar absorbing capacities
thus, resulting in naturally cool shades & homes. For significant cooling
performance, our sheets come in pastel color pigments resulting in lower infra
radiation absorptivity by around 25%, thus giving homes cool roofs that help you
in building a home that is sure to protect you even through extreme summers.
Cool Roof Technology: JSW Colouron+ sheets are available in more than 10 shades, these roofing sheets
have been identified as per market demand and developed with higher SRI property.

Installations
Placement of Groove Portion
Right way
The groove portion should be on the inner side. The air gap on
the left ensures that water does not travel upwards
Wrong way
The groove portion should not be on the outer side. Improper
contact makes the roof vulnerable to water leakages.
4. Metal debris from sawing, drilling and other construction processes should be removed
during installation. Otherwise, the metal fillings will form red rust on the surfaces where
they were deposited. Red rust of the metal fillings may cause stain or discoloration on
the surface of the panel.
5. Do not install the roof sheets during rains as sheets get wet and slippery and can cause
damage to the sheets.
6. It is important that shoes do not have small stones, steel drillings, etc. embedded into
the soles.
16
Storage and Handling
If Colour Coated sheets are to be stored for any time prior to forming or installation, they must be
stored in dry and well ventilated conditions. Storage which allows water (including condensation) to
be trapped between the sheets may damage the coating beyond repair.
DO’S
1. Always keep the material in a dry, shaded and good ventilated area.
2. If not required for immediate use, provide cover to protect the material.
3. If the sheets become wet during storage, separate them without delay. Clean the mois-
ture on the surface with a clean cloth. Stack the sheets with gaps between them for air
circulation.
4. Always keep the material slightly above the ground by using wooden or rubber plank.
DONT’S
1. Do not keep the material on wet floor (water, rain, etc.).
2. Moisture or water penetration between the sheets through the wooden pallets can cause
damage hence it should be avoided.
3. Do not let the water leak inside the packed coils.
4. Metal-on-metal contact should be avoided whenever possible.
5. Do not let the sheets come in contact with salt, water, corrosive chemicals, ash, fumes,
foundries, plating works, kilns, fertilizers and wet or green lumber.
6. Do not slide sheet on rough surface or over each other.
7. Contact with water and mud should be strictly prohibited.
Disclaimer on Condensation:
Condensation is the phenomenon of formation of water droplets on the bottom side of any installed metal
roofing sheet. It may occur when there is a difference in temperature between air in the building and the
sheet, it causes water vapour (moisture) in the air to condense on the inside of the sheet. It is a natural
phenomenon and hence no claims will be entertained in this regard. The risk of condensation may be
minimized by providing proper ventilation arrangement in the roofs and by using suitable insulation.
