The pandemic had a significant negative impact on Wendy's, the third-largest hamburger chain in the
United States, but they managed to overcome it and adapt to the epidemic. In order to increase their
profitability, they are now concentrating on their mobile application and relying more on delivery. In
order to reduce losses, they also deleted meat from their online menus. This was done because beef is an
expensive and labor-intensive ingredient. They could recover the 14.4% if they keep doing this for 8
years.
