A Vocation Trip in Kalimantan

First day I got there was very exhausting. I've jut arrived there than must following the
blessing the chasuble before ordination. But this is an amazing happening for me. Archbishop
Agustinus of Pontianak attended this event as the main celebran. I remember some words
from Archbishop about the habit or anykind of priesthood clothing. “If a priest or friar is
feeling uncomfortable, better he leave the priesthood or life as a churchmen.” It's a
meaningful word and rebuke me also. Being a friar or churchmen it is a challenging because
it need a loyalty, perseverance, and surrender. It is because I believe God's plan for me and
He has provided everything well.
The next day was the ordination. A fantastic experience for me. There is a feeling like so
excited but I also jealous. I excited because the circumtance and jealous because I want to
experience that too. I always get fascinated when a Bishop give his arm on a man and ordain
him. It's like father and son. When a father give his son reposibilities and trust to him. Father
in heaven give His children reposibilities to bless His name in this world. Every men has that
reposibility but in different way each person. It is the meaning of vocation for me.
Trip in pontianak was so fantastic. Pontianak is a beautiful island with their beautiful heritage
also. It's a new experience that I got from Pontianak, many kind of new culture there. I have
never found that in Java and Sumatra. I'm feeling so happy and grateful because of these
things.
Evaluation
 The transportation that we use was so lack of comfort. I think we can choose a better
one next time.

