1 General description

The BiesseLabel package consists of application software that allow the user to define the data
necessary for printing the labels of the individual machined workpieces and/or the layouts of the
BPP files generated at the end of the “Nesting” project's process.

Contents
• LEdit application software
• LPrint application software
• BiessePrint application software

1.1 LEdit application software

The LEdit application software allows the user to produce models (documents in XML format) to

Models for labels/layouts

The LEdit application software can generate two types of label models :
„ Model for the label to apply to each piece obtained from the machining of the individual BPP
files generated in the Nesting project (see the following example).

The default label model “LayoutDef.xml” must be stored in

“..\Biesse\BiesseWorks\Utilis\LEdit\MixedData\Label”.
„ Model for the layout to print and/or consult containing data inherent to the individual BPP files
generated in the Nesting project (see following example).

The default layout model “LayoutSch.xml” must be stored in

“..\Biesse\BiesseWorks\Utilis\LEdit\MixedData\Label”.

This environment opens the work mode, allowing an MNO format document generated during the
"Nesting" project processing to be opened at any time and the required labels printed Offline.

This mode allows all the Offline labels of the required “Nesting" projects to be printed even if they
are not in execution.

If the application software is connected to the machine's NC and work is being carried out in the
environment Offline, when the machined pieces are deposited on the unloading pallet, a red
icon appears on the status bar indicating that it is now possible to print the labels of the recently
completed program. In this case, in order to pass to the environment, click on this Online icon or
on the button .

Label printing procedure

„ To print all the labels at the same time, click on the button Print all.

Folder for searching

List of paths, separated by a semicolon, in which to search for the MNO file if it is not stored in the
same path as the program to label.

For example:
C:\Biesse\BiesseWorks\Nesting\progetti;C:\Biesse\BiesseWorks\Nesting\Risultati;C:\NestingML_
MNO.
In this case, when launching a program present in path “..home\d_xnc\...”, the system will search
for the MNO file in this path and then in the folder indicated in the data field Folder for searching.
