Lake Toba

Once a farmer went fishing. One of the fish caught can speak like a human. The fish said that the farmer
would not eat it. The farmer immediately released the fish into the river.

After that, the fish turned into a beautiful woman. It turned out that she was a princess who was cursed
to become a fish. He was very grateful to the farmer and agreed to be his wife. But with one condition,
the farmer cannot tell anyone where he came from if he doesn't want to experience disaster.

Farmer agrees. The two married and had a son. What's strange, the child has an unusual trait, in which
he never feels full.

One day, the mother asked her son to deliver food to her husband in the fields. On the way, the son
instead ate his father's food, then slept in a hut. The father who waited with hunger and thirst finally
decided to go home. On the way, he saw his son asleep and his provisions were running out. He was
annoyed and scolded his son by saying that he was a fish child. Immediately his wife and children
disappeared.

Where the child and his wife left footprints, water emerged which formed a lake which we now know as
Lake Toba.
