Gerard da Cunha's architecture is an inspiration for architects in India and around the world.

The village is dedicated to the preservation and promotion of Indian classical dance.

The village is designed as a holistic living and learning community, where students can
focus on their studies and practice without distractions.

The village is also known for its architecture, which is designed to be in harmony with the
natural environment, using traditional Indian building techniques and materials.

The village is spread over an area of 10 acres and it includes residential quarters for the
students and teachers, a dance studio, an open-air theater, a library, a dining hall, and other
facilities.

The village consists of a series of buildings, including student dormitories, classrooms, and
performance spaces, which are all connected by a network of pathways and courtyards.

The use of traditional Indian building materials, such as mud, brick, and bamboo, is a key
feature of the project, and the buildings are designed to be energy-efficient and to make use
of natural light and ventilation.
