Most religious art, like visual symbols and representational imagery, serves as religious

teaching, illustrating body postures and gestures or a story or dogma of a religious

tradition. Religious paintings idealize, exalt, imply, and communicate a religion's story.
They preserve religious traditions and make it easier for people to visualize a notion or
event that would otherwise be impossible to visualize with just words.

Art demonstrates spiritual truths such as tranquility, depth, and passion, among others. As
a result, art gives the invisible form, color, tension, and balance. It harnesses wonder and
leads to active creativity through dawning knowledge. Christians have made the truth of
God incarnate visible via such creative work. The arts have long played an important role
in religion. Traditional societies' arts transmit their basic beliefs and values, and those
beliefs and values have a strong religious or spiritual component.

For a believer, art is important since it is a very significant kind of recreation and learning
for a man's development. Art allows us to enhance ourselves holistically by affecting
various elements of our lives. We can express the views of our faith within us by
presenting art. Spiritual art is concerned with feelings evoked or explored by the art,
which may provoke thought on the meaning of life, frequently involving existential
questions. The spirituality developed could be from a religious tradition or from our own
perspective.
