Has TV destroyed communication?

I agree with that:

Outline

1) decrease in face-to-face communication

because of no need sit and talk for info or entertainment.
2) decrease in family communication
due to advent of streaming and multiple TVs in the same home
3) decrease in thinking skills
Due to passive engagement with world around

Television has been a part of our daily lives for many years. It provides entertainment, information, and
a way to connect with the world. Since its invention it has changed a lot the way we interact and
communicate with each other. Although TV has some advantages, I argue that television has actually
destroyed communication and separated individuals and families from each other. I think television has
destroyed communication by leading to a decrease in face-to-face communication, a decrease in family
communication and a decrease in active thinking skills.

Television has led to a decrease in face-to-face communication. With the advent of television, people no
longer need to rely on face-to-face communication to be entertained or informed. Instead, they can
simply sit in front of the television and watch whatever they desire and whenever they want. This has
led to a decrease in the amount of time that people spend talking to each other and has led to a decline
in the ability of people to communicate closely and effectively.

Television has led to a decrease in family communication. In the past, families would gather to talk to
each other and entertain. However, with the emerge of Television household do not need to come
around anymore. In addition, with the advent of streaming services and multiple televisions sets in a
home, family members are now able to watch different programs and shows at the same time, leading
to less interaction and communication among family members.

Television has led to an increase in passive entertainment. Television offers a form of entertainment
that requires little to no effort for the viewer. This has led to a decrease in the ability of people to
actively engage with the surrounding world and has led to a decline in critical thinking skills. For
example, in the past we in our family get together to talk and entertain in order to pass boring winter
nights but it is not the same nowadays due to existence of Televisions.
