4.5 Plug connector coding
T he control wiring plug connector coding allows
withdra wable parts f or switching dev ices to be
assigned to particular panels. T his ensures, f or
exa mple, that withdra wabl e parts with dif f erent rated
currents or diff erent control wiring circuits can only
be used in the panels the y are intended f or. Coding
pins are f itted in the control wiring s ockets ( F i g u r e 9 )
or control wiring plugs and engage with the
correspondin g bores of the relev ant plug 1 (Figure 9)
or socket 3 when the t wo p arts are connected.
T he plug connector coding is order -related, and is
noted in the relev ant wiring documentation.

Important note:
The cable connection bars are equipped w ith
holes for M 16 screw s.
Cable termi nation kits are mou nted on the cab le
cores according to the manuf acturer’s instructions. It
is possible to use cable te rmination kits f rom dif f
erent manuf acturers (e.g. Pr ys mian, Raych em etc.),
but it i s necessary to keep the sa me length of the
cable ends, including cable ter minatio n kits, which is
giv en by t he distance of cable connecting bars
(Figure 133 ) f rom the panel f loor cov ering.
T hese bars hav e diff erent v ersions, which diff er in
their number of parallel cables and the v alues of
rated and short -circuit currents.
T he bars are equipped with holes f or M16 screws.
The earthing of cable screens is carried out on the stri p -
holding cable cla mps. T he cable strip is connected t
o the earth potential.
It is also possible to place the remov able arrangeme
nt of v oltage transf ormers in the cable compart
ment . T hese can be f itted with HV f uses sim ilar to
those in the measuring panel.
T hree f ixed mounted surge arresters can also be
installed here. In both ca ses the nu mber of parall el
cables that can be installe d is reduced - (see t able ) .
