Not all those who wander are lost

Was I in love visiting islands? Oh yes! But more so, I was in love with the entire experience of traveling. I
could not get enough. I wanted to see as much as I could, learn as much as I could, make the most of
every minute. So one of the finest and most satisfying adventures of my life so far was the time when
me, my friend and her family went on vacant in Camotes Island.

Our summers, and a lot of our weekends, were spent traveling in Camotes. We did a lot of local trips in
camotes like we entirely explore the whole Camotes island, we go to different caves, falls and beaches,
we also learned about their culture and history. One of my favorite places that i visit in camotes is the
Buho rock. It is abandoned resort but recently it is under the local government’s care. Buho rock is one
of Camotes Island tourist spots. The cliffside their has overlooking panoramic views of the sea.

Yes, there were a lot of people at that time because it was summer, especially in the caves and falls  but
we really enjoyed our stay in there. And the following days we stayed at the resort to rest and the next
day we left again to explore. While  traveling by jeep, I even enjoyed simple landscapes as they were
fleeting past my window.  I have loved travel for as long as I can remember.Even though we are so tired
traveling to different places we still managed to explore all of them.

All that aside, we loved our visit to Camotes Island! It’s an amazing Island with a wonderful views and a
well-maintained environment. Even though it was my first time visiting the  island , it took my breath
away when it first came into view. In fact, the first batch of photos I took of it are blurry because I was
shaking from excitement!

Touristy or not, a visit to Camotes would not be complete without visiting those caves, falls and other
outdoors activities especially if you don’t enjoy exploring them.
