Definition of Micro Small &
Medium Enterprises
(UMKM)

In general, SMEs or commonly known as small and medium enterprises is a


term that refers to a type of business that is founded by individuals and has a
net worth of at most Rp. 200. 000. 000, 00 (not including land and buildings.
According to Irfan et al (2017, p. 4) MSME is "a company classified as MSME,
namely a small company owned and managed by one person orowned by a
small group of people with minimum wealth and income.
