Work remotely

Good afternoon everyone, I’m rokey from Ringcentral, so glad to be here to have a sharing with you.
Do you have ever noticed a phenomenon, in recent years, since the outbreak of coronavirus pandemics,
more and more companies like Google, Amazon, Twitter allowed their employees to work remotely. And
According to an estimate in Forbes, in 2020, 50 percent of the U.S workforce was projected to be remote;
and Europe’s remote workers have grown from 7.7 percent to 9.8 percent in the past decade. As you can
see, remote working is becoming popular among companies all around the world. Let’s take a look at the
benefits of remote work for both employees and employers at Ring Central. I’ll extend from 3 aspects
bellow: 1. Working remotely allows for better work-life balance; 2. Being a remote employees promotes
employees well-being; 3. Remote work equals an increase in productivity.
Above all, working remotely allows for better work-life balance. For many businesses, even a couple
of decades ago, working remotely would have been nearly impossible. Since the technology grew mature
gradually, it became possible. Saving time that would otherwise be spent on a long commute allows
employees to have better work-life balance and adds hours back into their days. Workers at Ring Central
can feel the great benefit of getting to have more time for themselves after work.
And the second advantage remote working brought is that it promotes employees well-being. With
no commute, no lunch rush, and no long hours in the office away from family or friends, working
remotely can improve the health and wellness of employees by reducing stress and limiting exposure to
potentially sick coworkers. RingCentral employees have shown a high sense of well being and optimism
towards their work that remote working gives.
Finally, remote work also increases productivity. The ability for employers to trust their teams, even
when they work out of the office, could be key to driving more productivity than ever before. Data shows
that when employees are able to skip the extra coffee breaks, a long commute, and any other distractions
to focus on their work, productivity reigns supreme. The staff at RingCentral has said they feel much more
productivity as they can be working at home or the office. This gives them much more empowerment and
confidence to do their best work.
That is all of my sharing today, let’s have a brief review of my points that remote working brings to
Ring Central employees. 1. Working remotely allows for better work-life balance; 2. Being a remote
employees promotes employees well-being; 3. Remote work equals an increase in productivity. Does
anyone have questions?
In the recent years of the pandemic, many people have faced great challenges. Many have lost jobs
or careers. However, the environment at RingCentral has gotten brighter for employees as the company
embraces flexibility in the remote work strategy. Being a part of the RingCentral team will allow you to
experience this for yourself. Bring your talents to RingCentral and see how great it is to be here.
