Compose scenarios which describe the different models of communication.
1. Arisotle
I came to a St. Joseph Parish church to worship, Father Yap is currently speaking his sermon
or message and after his message, “please all stand” he said, and everyone in the church stand.
2. Shannon Weaver’s Model of Communication
I am alone at our house so I open my messenger and call my cousin which her house is not
far from our home, I called her because I need someone who will accompany me, after a seconds
my cousin answered the call, “Are you busy?” I asked, “I’m, sorry I can’t hear you let me turn
off our TV first”, she answered, “So what it is?” my cousin asked, “Are you busy?” I repeated,
“No, why is that?” she answered Mama and Papa run some errands can you come and join me?”,
“Ok, I’m free, wait for me” she answered and ended the call. After several minutes she came,
and we watch movies.
3. Osgood-Schramm’s Model of Communication
Jhoey and his friends decided to have a play tomorrow, he was thinking what kind of game
they ‘re going to play, so he decided to call his friend Paul, “Bro, I just want to ask what kind of
game we’re going to play?” he asked, “We’ll play basketball” Paul answered, “Ok, thanks Bro!”
Jhoey answered and ended the call, and after that Jhoey remembered they have one girl friend, he
opened their group chat, “How’s Macy? She don’t know how to play basketball” he messaged,
“Oh I forgot Macy XD kidding” Paul replied , “Hmm, that’s why I’m going to ask if I can bring
my cousin tomorrow so that I can play too” Macy Replied, “Yeah sure” They all replied.
4. Eugene White’s stages of Communication
My Stomach ached and I was wondering what would be the reason why my stomach ache,
then I suddenly remembered the date today, it’s September 24, it’s my period time, so I go to
mirror to see if there’s a blood stain so I go to my drawer and I search for my pads, unfortunately
I don’t have any pads, so I go to my Mama I saw her sitting on the chair “Ma do you have an
extra pads? It’s my period today and I run out of pads” I said, she look at me “Wait, I just go and
check” she said, I remain standing cause I’m afraid to sit down cause my blood might leave some
stain on chair, “I don’t have any but wait for me and I’ll go buy one”.
