3rd CONVOCATION NOTIFICATION

Ref: Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor’s Orders dated 25-01-2020.

1. The 3rd CONVOCATION of the University is likely to be held in March 2020, for the
conferment of Bachelor, Master, M. Phil. and Ph.D. Degrees on successful candidates. The
actual date and time of the above Convocation will be intimated through the daily news
email and post in due course.

2. All the candidates who have been declared as eligible for the award of of UG/PG Degrees such
as B.A, B.Sc., B.Com., BBA, B.Ed., B.P.Ed., M.A., M.Sc., M.Com., M.B.A., M.C.A., M.Ed.,
M.S.W, M.L.I.Sc., 5 Year Integrated Programmes, etc., during the academic years from July
2011 to June 2019 may apply for admission to this convocation.

3. The candidates declared eligible for the award of M. Phil. and Ph.D. Degrees for Research from
August 2013 to June 2019 may apply in the prescribed form for obtaining their degrees in this
convocation.

4. The candidate who desires to attend the Convocation and receive his/her Degrees ‘IN PERSON’
may apply for ‘IN PERSON’ mode. Candidates who are not able to attend the Convocation are
admitted for ‘IN ABSENTIA’ mode and their Degree Certificates will be sent by Registered
post after completion of the Convocation.

5. The candidates who are awarded with FIRST RANKS (Gold Medals and Prizes) shall be
admitted to the Convocation ‘IN PERSON’ only.

6. The candidates who have passed Under Graduate (Regular /DDE), Post Graduate, M.Phil.,
Ph.D., Courses through Directorate of Distance Education/Off-Campus Study Centers,
Dravidian University shall be admitted to their respective Degrees “IN ABSENTIA” only.

7. The Eligible candidates who are intending to receive their Degrees in the above Convocation,
may obtain the application forms from 27-01-2020 onwards from the Office of the
CONTROLLER OF EXAMINATIONS, DRAVIDIAN UNIVERSITY, KUPPAM, Andhra
Pradesh in person or by post by sending a requisition along with, self addressed stamped (Rs.
45/-) envelope (23 x 10 cm) or application forms may be downloaded through www.dravidian
university.ac.in.

8. The filled in application forms along with the enclosures, in original, shall be submitted in
person or by post to the CONTROLLER OF EXAMINATIONS, DRAVIDIAN UNIVERSITY,
KUPPAM – 517426, so as to reach the office on or before 26-02-2020 by 5.00pm together with
the following fee paid either by Demand Draft drawn in favour of “The Registrar, Dravidian
University Kuppam” payable at Andhra Bank, Dravidian University Branch or into Andhra
Bank through Challan into Examinations Account No.3175 for Campus students and
S.D.C.E./D.D.E. Account No: 10411 for Off Campus/D.D.E. students respectively.

9. The University is not responsible for any postal delay or loss in transit. The Convocation may
be held on any day during March 2020 but the application received after the above said last date
shall be considered for conferment of Degree under ‘IN ABSENTIA’ mode.
